• Pyramids of Giza - The tour begins at 8:00 am with a convenient pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by a tour guide, who will then transfer you to the Giza Pyramids to start your half-day tour. You will visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.

There is an opportunity to explore the Pyramids from the inside or enjoy a camel ride around the great pyramids, although these activities may incur an additional charge.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only fully preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine discovered in a temple ruin from a later period at Abydos in 1903. All other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu comes from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents. For instance, Khufu is the main character mentioned in the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some of which were discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Others were found during subsequent excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Then, visit The Sphinx - the legendary guardian that stands by the vast funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren.
• Panoramic view of the Pyramids - You will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in a private car. Our guide will be waiting for you in the lobby area, holding a sign with your name on it, and will drive you to the quad bike location to enjoy an incredible experience while in Egypt.
