• Giza Plateau - Begins at 8:00 am with a hotel pickup from either Cairo or Giza by a tour guide, followed by a transfer to the Giza Pyramids to start your half-day tour. You’ll visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.

There is an opportunity to explore the Pyramids from the inside or enjoy a camel ride around the great pyramids, but these activities are subject to an additional charge.

Conclude your tour with a visit to The Valley Temple, where the priests mummified the body of King Chephren. Here, you’ll also get a close-up view of The Sphinx.

• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was connected to a causeway, which was largely destroyed during the village’s construction.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple yielded several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Additional statues were discovered during subsequent excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also revealed several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - The Sphinx dates back to the reign of King Khafre. During the New Kingdom, Amenhotep II dedicated a new temple to Hauron-Haremakhet, which was later expanded by subsequent rulers.
