• Giza Plateau - Begin your tour anytime between 7:00 am and 11:00 am with a pickup from Cairo International Airport by a tour guide. Embark on your Cairo layover tour to the Giza Pyramids, where you will explore the Great Pyramid of King Cheops, as well as the Middle and Small Pyramids. Visit the Valley Temple and the Sphinx, and enjoy a camel ride around the Great Pyramid.
• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, currently buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, although the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, which was mostly destroyed during the village’s construction.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some of which were discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860. Additional statues were found during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex comprises a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx of Giza - Conclude your layover day tour with a visit to the Sphinx, located near the Valley Temple. The Sphinx is the oldest and largest in Egypt, featuring a lion’s body and a human head, symbolizing power and intellect. The face of the Sphinx is a likeness of Khafre, who constructed the Middle Pyramid of Giza.

Camel rides and entry into any of the pyramids can be arranged for an additional charge.

After completing your visit, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport.

• Islamic Cairo - Travel from Giza to Cairo to explore Islamic Cairo, which includes a visit to the Citadel of Saladin and the Mohamed Ali Mosque. Continue to the Sultan Hassan Mosque, El Rifai Mosque, and Ibn Tulun Mosque.
