This excursion is priced for a base group of two participants. A lone traveler can still reserve this private experience but will have to pay the cost intended for two participants.

- If your hotel is not in the city centre or Giza area, such as near the airport or 6th of October, we can arrange a hotel pick-up for a supplement fee. Fabulous private guided tour - Wael displays a great depth of knowledge and passion for the Giza Plateau. A takeaway from this tour: the pyramids and sphinx are not just monuments but have deeper astrological and religious expressions designed to secure eternal life for Egypt’s Pharoahs.
A highly recommended experience!

Must do see and understand the Giza Pyramids complex. - This is an excellent detailed tour of the Giza Pyramids with lots of time to explore and learn as much as you can handle and more. Our guide, Muhammad was fantastic, he had the perfect combination of knowledge, passion and communication skills to make him a superb tour guide.
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Cairo even if your have already been on a group tour that included the Pyramids.

Personal och knowledgeable guide - Our guide Ahmed was amazing. He had a vast knowledge of everything related to the Egyptian history. Also he was very keen on making sure we understood what it would take to go into the chamber if The Great Pyramid.

Pyramids, the Sphinx and an amazing tour guide - I did this tour as the itinerary set out everything I wanted to see. Seeing the pyramids and Sphinx up close is truly an unforgettable experience and you can get some great photos as it is (mostly) crowd free. Having it all planned out for you made it so simple to see everything and not have to stress by doing it yourself. What really made this an amazing experience was my tour guide, Ahmed Abdelsalam! I was a solo traveller on this tour and Ahmed was very focused on making sure I was having a great time and never left my side. His knowledge on Egypt and the history is top notch, he took pictures of me with the pyramids and suggested funny ones to take and he was really easy to talk to, ask questions and have a laugh with him. Honestly if you do this tour and get Ahmed, you will get the best in the business.

Blows your mind. - Ahmed Mohsen was our local guide. He was very polite , knowledgeable and personable on our tour. He totally changed any preconceptions we had on the construction theories of the great Pyramids. We learnt so much from him and would love to come back to explore these more. He bought us an Egyptian breakfast as we had a tour the day before, so he made it different so we could try new things. We would seek him out as a tour guide in the future as we would Marwa from yesterday. Highly recommend this tour. 13 October 2025. We come from New Zealand

Cairo tour guide 5 stars - From the moment we met our guide Marwa Mohye she made our experience so special. Her knowledge of Ancient Egypt was exceptional and she made sure we saw absolutely everything we wanted and more. We have travelled the world and done many tours but this has been by far the best we have had and the best guide we have encountered 🙂

Giza Pyramids - I felt the Giza Pyramids were highly commercialized, however, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend using a Guide, as they provide all the information you need and enhance the experience.

Good trip but a bit rushed - We wanted to see as much as possible and elected to do a private half day Giza only trip. Our guide was Maryam. During this we went inside the great pyramid and smallest one as well as the tomb of Mars Anke, which were great. We did feel a bit rushed and our guide tried to dissuade us from visiting the panoramic viewpoint at the end, advising the pictures wouldn’t be that different. We’re glad we said we wanted to stop there though.
The trip we booked did say that it included lunch at a local restaurant. This wasn’t mentioned throughout the trip, and we were dropped back at our hotel after visiting Giza. Whilst we booked this trip to see as much of Giza as we could and would happily sacrifice food time to see more of the sights, it would have been nice if this could have been mentioned, even if to say that more time at the site would mean no time for lunch.

URBAN ADVENTURES THE WORST OF EGYPT - Lousy tour operator... they do not answer the only phone line they have, plus that line does not have whatsapp, not managing to coordinate the hotel pickup we approached the meeting point specified on the service voucher from 6:00 am to which many cars from different companies arrived, but Urban Adventures Jamas arrived. It was written to the email in view of not having a whatsapp line and not achieving communication and after 4 hours of waiting they reported that they did not have our reservation... in short we had to hire another company at 11:00 am to not lose the day because the next day we took another flight. Actually in Cairo we only stayed for 2 days and we were very sorry with this company that it is incredible that in the 21st century they do not operate a whatsapp line or have an emergency hotline or a chat on their page. Manejan schedules from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm when excursions run from 7:00 am.
