- Split Rock of Horeb - Moses and his followers camped in a waterless area. The people’s desperation, driven by the fear of dying from thirst, led Moses to fear for his life due to their potential wrath. Their salvation came through a miraculous event at Rephidim. Moses struck the Rock of Horeb, causing it to split and release vast amounts of water, described as “rivers in the desert.” Witnessing this miracle is a must for any visitor to Saudi Arabia. Behold the remarkable split Rock of Horeb, a highlight of our tour! Discovered by Jim and Penny Caldwell in the 1990s, explore this geological marvel.
- Twelve Waterfall of Musa A - The Springs of Moses are a collection of hot springs, some sweet and some bitter, forming a small fertile oasis. This beautiful oasis, surrounded by natural palm trees, offers healing waters, particularly beneficial for diabetic wounds, body strengthening, and regulating high blood pressure.
This underground spring, supplying the monastery with water, is believed to be where Moses met his future wife, Zipporah, after defending her and her sisters from aggressive local shepherds (Exodus 2:16-21). According to the monks, the well never runs dry and serves as the monastery’s primary water source.
- Al Suaedni Well - The site of Moses Well, also known as Bir Al-Saidani in Bada, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, is located between the desert and mountains. It attracts many pilgrims, although the well has now dried up.
- Magha’er Shuaib - Maghaer Shuaib is located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, in the reddish desert west of Tabuk. The area is surrounded by a rugged, arid landscape with sandstone cliffs, rocky outcrops, and vast desert stretches.
Historical Significance: The origins and history of Maghaer Shuaib are still under study by archaeologists. It is believed to date back to the Nabataean civilization, which flourished in the region from the 4th century BC to the 1st century AD.

Embark on a day journey to visit ancient historical sites and learn about the remarkable stories of two prophets. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Discover the newly opened country of Saudi Arabia and explore the land of Midian – the home of Jethro (Prophet Shuaib) and Moses (Musa). Midian is where Moses spent 10 years in voluntary exile before returning to free his people from Pharaoh Ramses II. The history of this place tells of Moses and the Israelites crossing the sea, which God parted to save them from Pharaoh, hence the name “Valley of Moses.” Marvel at the dazzling blue waters of the Gulf of Aqaba and the red sands of the Great Nefud Desert. Known in biblical times as the Land of Midian, this historically significant and awe-inspiring place is where God helped Moses (Musa) by parting the sea and splitting a rocky mountain. It is truly a mind-blowing experience.
