• Toubkal National Park - Climb Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) and return to Imlil**

Rise early, typically between 4am and 5am, for a hearty breakfast before starting the ascent of the highest peak in North Africa.

The climb, which is quite physically challenging, takes approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on your pace. The path meanders through scree and rocky sections, but poses no major technical challenges in dry conditions.

Upon reaching the summit of Mount Toubkal, you will be greeted with breathtaking 360° views of the Atlas Mountains, the surrounding plains, and, on a clear day, the Sahara Desert.

After a period of rest and reflection at the peak, you will begin the descent to the refuge where a lunch awaits you.

In the afternoon, you will continue the descent to Imlil, arriving after an additional 4 to 5 hours of walking.

Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal Refuge:

The journey begins with a transfer to the village of Imlil, where the trek commences. The path leads through the Maizane Valley, passing the village of Armed and continuing to the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch. The trek proceeds by crossing the floodplains.

Day 2: Toubkal Refuge - Toubkal Summit - Imlil - Marrakech:

Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Northern Africa, awaits. The route leads to the south circus, crossing the stream above the refuge. While the path is relatively straightforward, the scree and altitude present a significant challenge.
