Snorkeling adventure with turtles and underground - Today we had unforgettable experiences snorkeling with turtles and later snorkeling in a cave. Alex was our guide and Omar, our driver. They did a great job preparing us for these adventures and making sure we had everything we needed. During the drives, Alex gave us lots of interesting background on the Mayans. Our guide for seeing the turtles was also very patient and kind. The turtles were super fun to see eating and surfacing. I was glad for the concern about protecting them. Later the underground cenote was dark and quiet, and we almost had it to ourselves. Alex joined us in the water to point out interesting rock features. The ride was comfortable and efficient.

Sea Turtle Encounter - We had booked a tour to go snorkeling on the reef, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, so Clair offered us this tour instead. We once again had Cristina as our tour guide. She is the very best, and anyone who books a tour with Absolute Adventure should ask for her! The water was a little cloudy due to the aforementioned weather, but we still got to see some turtles and a bunch of different fish. We then went to an amazing cenote. I cant remember which one it was but it had the clearest waters we had ever seen and was amazing to swim and snorkel in. Altogether a wonderful experience!

Cenote fun times! - A group of us were in Mexico for my 40th birthday and decided to do this tour to get off property and we were glad we did. Christina was our guide and she did a fantastic job. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see many turtles, but that can’t be controlled! We did two cenotes, Jaguar which was an open air cenote with a zip line and Taak Bi Ha which was an absolutely amazing underground cenote! Would highly recommend and you should ask for Christina, she’s the best!!!

Great turtle and cenote adventure - We had a great time with our guide Cristina. Pickup was right on time and the tour met all expectations. The turtle snorkeling was very doable if you were a confident swimmer (with mandatory life jacket). We chose the Taak bi Ha cenote swim and it was like nothing anyone in family had done before. I recommend to use the snorkel mask in the cenote to see the underwater channels.

Perfect experience from start to finish! - If I could recommend this Tour more than 5 stars I would. I highly recommend this service, it’s private personal to your group. (My case me and my husband). We have been on tours with other companies which other passengers have ruined the experience, there is no chance of that here. Our guide and Driver who picked us up at 7:45am on Sunday July 6th from Secrets/Impressions Moxche, were spectacular from the start. They even checked with us first if we still wanted to go swim with the Turtles because the sargassum was very thick at the opening (and we would have to walk through it), I know that’s nature and we do not control it, sargassum didn’t stop me from seeing the turtles though. Our Guide who had to take over there was a young 20 something guy very educational and nice. We saw 4 turtles. 1 massive one, 1 baby and 2 normal sized turtles. 🐢 Then we went to a lagoon, Yalku in Akumal. Our guide was able to join us there. It was absolutely beautiful there breathtakingly beautiful. It was one of the most beautiful magical experiences I’ve been on since the great barrier reefs Australia , and Maui Hawaii as a kid. After that we went to a wonderful local restaurant in Akumal, and had Taco’s & nacho chips. Then our trip came to an end and we got back to our resort at 12:30pm. I wish I wrote our guides name down, he was truly amazing and wouldn’t have wanted any other guide! 🙂 Will definitely be coming back and bringing family and friends. I highly recommend Absolute Adventures Mexico!! When in playa del Carmen will be only using them from now on!

A visit to Tulum should include this excursion - Such a fun day! Juan, our guide was amazing. He had meaningful knowledge about the ruins, the region, and Mayan history and culture that made having a tour good a huge plus. The ruins are interesting but the info shared by Juan made the experience more relevant and meaningful. After the ruins, we went to the cenote where Juan was able to show us lesser known parts of the cenote and answered every question we had about these unusual swimming holes. The cenote was more crowded than usual but it didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying the crisp spring waters, water lilies, and caves. Finally, Juan joined our family for lunch where we continued our lively conversation. The restaurant was adorable though they pricing at the gift shop was questionable . Definitely take note and negotiate. It was a joy to share part of our family trip with him and we're appreciative of the unique experience and extensive info he shared with us. Despite being a Bengals fan, Juan absolutely made what was already a cool half day excursion that much better. 🙏

Cenote tour with a side of turtles 🐢 - We had an amazing day with our wonderful guide, Arturo, visiting Akumal to swim with sea turtles and snorkeling among beautiful sea life. A beautiful place. We also visited a cenote and had an awesome time. Arturo was a very skilled guide, kind to our family and extremely accommodating. We felt it was a privilege to view these natural sites and experience them in this way. Something we could only do here in Mexico!

Amazing Cenote and Snorkeling Experience - We had an unforgettable experience with Arturo and Rodrigo’s team! Even though the weather wasn’t ideal for the reef, they expertly adjusted our plans and suggested visiting the turtle sanctuary area with our amazing Mayan guide, Luis. Our kids, aged 11 and 14, were thrilled to see sea turtles and even spotted a stingray! The highlight was when our son got to choose which cenote to explore. We ended up at an incredible cave cenote where we swam in an underground river—absolutely magical and a MUST-see. The tour team was professional, accommodating, and fun throughout the day. Whether you’re looking for adventure or just a unique family outing, you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend. 🌟
