So much fun!! - We loved walking through the paths and seeing all the different animals, and hearing their rescue stories. The monkeys were adorable. We even heard howler monkeys, which is unusual. Having monkeys on our head’s shoulders, and in hands was the thrill of a lifetime. I highly recommend this experience.

There is a lot of... - There is a lot of walking. The buffet isn't worth it. Tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly. The monkey experience isn't good for small or loud children.

Fun and informative! - It is a legit sanctuary. Which means you shouldn’t believe all the negative reviews. It didnt used to be but now it is. It also means the touching of the animals and having some of them sit on you doesn’t happen as much. But our guide was so excellent and knowledgeable. And the monkey encounter is so unique! Would recommend and go again. Our driver was also great! Perfect less than half day outting.

Monkeys everywhere. - This was a fantastic outing for my family. Our guide Siri was amazing. She had very detailed knowledge of all the animals we encountered and was very informative and specific animals backgrounds and history. The tour was conducted in English and French and I would compliment Siri’s vocabulary and pronunciation in both languages.

Worth going. - The sanctuary itself is amazing. Very informative and they take really good care of their animals. The hands on experience was the best. The mosquitos are terrible!!! Definitely bring repellent. I still am itching 3 days later! L

A very worthwhile outing... - Perhaps I'm naive and came with unrealistic expectations, but I did read all the reviews ahead of time. I was hoping to see more animals and in less of a caged experience. Upon arrival our tour guide clearly explained and prepared us accurately for the experience, noting the rescue's mission and operations, but by the time I arrived, my expectations were already set. I was also hoping the monkeys might be more interactive with us visitors, even if separated from us. If the price were about 1/3rd less, I'd feel i'd had a great experience at a fair price. I also paid a hefty price for the photos which I'm still awaiting 2 full days later. I feel bad giving this harsh review because this rescue does great work and does a pretty good job of walking a tightrope of being entertaining and informative while serving the animal's needs first, as they should.

A sanctuary, or just a zoo? - We went there, then heard from locals that some of the monkeys are rescues, some are being used. Experience confirms that opinion. This is a zoo. We saw some animals who seemed happy, some who looked miserable. Hard to support a situation where an animal is in jail, and has committed no crime.
