Arrival in Izmir / Pergamon

Pergamon Ancient City - Upon arriving in Izmir, meet the tour guide and travel to Pergamum. Explore the impressive Acropolis, the ancient city itself, and see the Altar of Zeus, referred to as the ‘throne of Satan’, the Temple of Trajan, and the third-largest Library of antiquity. Continue to Asklepion, a renowned medical center of classical times, and also visit the Red Basilica (St. John’s Church).

Akhisar - The journey continues to Thyatira, now known as Akhisar. Here, view the remains of a basilica and some architectural fragments from the Roman era.

Old Smyrna - On the return drive to Izmir, before checking in at the hotel, enjoy a panoramic tour of Smyrna, the third-largest city in Turkey and one of the sites of the Seven Churches of Asia.

Hierapolis, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea

Sardis (Sardes) - Depart early in the morning for Sardis, where you will see the great Temple, which later became a Byzantine Church. Visit the restored gymnasium and the Synagogue as well.

Hierapolis & Pamukkale - Next, travel to the healing city of Hierapolis, now known as Pamukkale, where hot mineral water emerges from the earth and cascades over steep cliffs, forming pools, channels, and stalactites. Visit the Martyrium of the Apostle Philip here.

Laodicea - Proceed to Laodicea, where you can walk among the ancient streets and see the historic structures.

Ephesus Ancient City, Virgin Mary’s House, St. Jean Basilica

Ancient City of Ephesus - Travel to Ephesus and explore the ancient city. Walk through history along marble streets lined with magnificent public buildings such as the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Theatre.

Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - Later, visit the House of Virgin Mary, where she spent her final days and the assumption took place.

The Basilica of Saint John - Finally, visit the Basilica of St. Jean and the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. After the tour, you will be driven to your hotel.

Departure Day

Izmir - After breakfast at the hotel, check out and, according to your flight schedule, be driven to the airport. This marks the end of our service.
