Best way to experience Aix! - A highlight of our two weeks trip to Provence and the Riviera. Thomas is a wonderful guide, with many thoughtful stories and selections from local markets and shops. We especially appreciate his patience with the six young children we had with us! Even the little ones were engaged and enjoyed the walk.

Fun, Informative, and Tasty Tour of Aix-en-Provence - Our guide, Thomas, gave us a very tasty and interesting tour of different typical foods from Provence at little shops and at the outdoor market. My husband and I were the only people on the tour, which made it possible to ask lots of questions and take a few photos. He is from the area and has a passion for the food and supporting local artisans. We enjoyed finding our way through the backstreets of the old city of Aix and learning more about the culture through its food. He offered us a 10% discount on anything we bought during the tour, which we used a couple of times. Everything was delicious! We would recommend Thomas as a guide and this tour!

A must do in Aix-en-Provence - Thomas’s passion for all things Provencal in general and specifically Aix-en-Provence really is the foundation for the tour. You can really tell just how much he loves the city and region.
He took us to off the beaten path places for cheese, truffles, sweets, lunch, and ice cream. All the places highlight local flavors and their products are produced locally. The hosts/owners of the shops were all very inviting and were very informative (especially the truffle shop). Thomas has cultivated a wonderful relationship that we were all able to benefit from.

An Aix-ploration of regional flavors - Our family of five had a wonderful time exploring Aix with Thomas. His passion for family businesses and small producers comes through. We loved sampling all sorts of treats, in shops and outdoor markets. We learned what foods are truly Provençal and Aixois. I loved making linguistic connections with the English words “companion,” “biscuit,” and “salary.” Thomas is tuned in to the needs of group members, and has established warm relationships with business owners and market merchants, so the vibe of the day was cheerful and friendly at every stop. Thank you, Thomas!

What an amazing 3.5 hours... - What an amazing 3.5 hours of learning and tasting local produce from Provence . Thomas was a fantastic guide and host. This is an experience I would recommend to everyone. Come hungry.

10/10 tour - Had a wonderful walk through Aix-en-Provence with Thomas, meeting local food artisans and producers in shops and the market … and sampling their offerings. Thomas has developed these relationships which allowed us to be welcomed into their world which would not be possible on our own. Thanks to him we tasted truly authentic Provencal products. His warmth and pride for the region enriched our stay. Highly recommended. P.S. skip breakfast before this tour!

Mix of history and sweet treats - I went on the morning short walk with Thomas. This was a great mix of history and sweet treats! We explored tiny streets away from the tourist bustle then discovered markets full of gorgeous produce. We tasted chocolate and pistachios in beautiful shops. Along the way Thomas shared snippets of Aix's history.

Fun Provencal gourmet walk in Aix - We had such a fun gourmet food tour in Aix-en-Provence with Thomas! Our group of four loved the tasty stops and even picked up some goodies to bring home to the US.
Thomas is a fantastic guide—friendly, knowledgeable about Provence, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. Thank you Thomas! We highly recommend it.
