Ait Barka - Guests will be picked up early in the morning from their accommodation in Marrakech to embark on a 3-Day Morocco Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga. The journey begins toward the High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views along the way.

After approximately an hour of driving, there will be a stop at a traditional Atlas Mountains café where guests can unwind, enjoy a coffee or tea, and admire the stunning mountain scenery. It’s a perfect opportunity to stretch and capture photos before continuing the journey toward the desert.

Tizi n Tichka - Following the break, the tour continues toward Tizi n’Tichka Pass, located about 30 minutes away. At 2,260 meters above sea level, it is the highest road pass in Morocco, providing spectacular panoramic views over the Atlas Mountains.

Agouim - After taking in the views at Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the tour proceeds with a short drive to a traditional Argan Oil workshop in Morocco.

Here, guests will learn about the traditional production methods of argan oil, its uses in cooking and cosmetics, and have time to take photos and explore the area as part of their cultural experience in Morocco.

Ait Ben Haddou - After visiting the Argan Oil workshop, the tour continues with a drive of about 1 hour and 20 minutes to the renowned Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its remarkable earthen architecture.

Upon arrival, guests will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the kasbah with a guide. During the visit, they will discover its rich history, unique design, and its role as a filming location for numerous international movies.

El Kelaa M’gouna - After exploring Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, the tour continues with a drive of about 2 hours to Kalaat M’Gouna, situated in the heart of Morocco’s famous Rose Valley.

Here, there will be a short break at a local café or restaurant where guests can enjoy a coffee or tea, relax, and freshen up before continuing the journey.

Tinghir - After the stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, the tour proceeds with a drive of about one hour to the hotel in Tinghir for the night.

If desired, the guide can arrange a short stop at a local shop along the way. Upon arrival at the hotel, guests can relax and rest, preparing for the next day’s adventure, including the camel trekking experience in the Sahara Desert.

TINGHIR → TODRA VALLEY & GORGES → TINEJDAD → ERFOUD → MERZOUGA DESERT

Todgha Gorge - After breakfast at the hotel, the tour departs around 7:40 AM to begin the second day of the 3-Day Desert Trip from Marrakech to Fes Morocco. The first stop is the stunning Todgha Gorge, renowned for its impressive canyon walls and dramatic natural scenery.

Here, guests can enjoy a peaceful walk along the river, admire the towering rock formations, and take memorable photos as part of their Private Desert Tour in Morocco.

Tinghir - After exploring the magnificent Todgha Gorge, the tour continues with a short 10-minute drive to the Panorama Palm Grove viewpoint.

Tinghir - After enjoying the views at the Panorama Palm Grove viewpoint, the tour continues with a 20-minute drive to a convenient stop.

Here, guests can use clean restroom facilities, relax for a short break, and purchase drinks or snacks before continuing the journey toward the desert.

Erfoud - After lunch, the tour continues with a drive of about one hour to a supermarket stop.

Here, guests can buy any last-minute essentials for the desert such as bottled water, snacks, or personal items, and also use the restroom before heading to the camel trekking experience. This is the final preparation stop before starting the Sahara adventure with the camel ride.

Merzouga - After the supermarket stop, the tour continues with a short 20-minute drive to the Merzouga Desert. Here, guests will start their desert experience with a camel trek of about 1 hour across the golden dunes, or they can take a 4x4 transfer of around 15 minutes directly to the desert camp. At the camp, they can enjoy the magical Sahara sunset, try sandboarding on the dunes, and relax before dinner. In the evening, they will experience traditional Berber music and dancing around the campfire, creating a night full of adventure, culture, and unforgettable moments.

MERZOUGA → ZIZ VALLEY → MIDELT → AZROU → FES

Erg Chebbi - If desired, guests can wake up early to enjoy an optional sunrise experience in the dunes. They can climb a nearby sand dune to watch the spectacular sunrise over Erg Chebbi, a peaceful and unforgettable moment in the desert before starting the journey back to Fes.

Erg Chebbi - Guests will enjoy breakfast at the desert camp before beginning their journey back. They will return by camel or 4x4 vehicle (optional, extra cost) to the edge of the dunes, where the minibus will be waiting to continue the trip toward Fes.

Midelt - The tour continues with a drive through Midelt, a town located in the heart of the Middle Atlas Mountains. There will be a stop here for a lunch break (not included), where guests can enjoy Moroccan dishes at a local café and relax before continuing the journey.

Ifrane - The drive continues through the cedar forests near Azrou, where guests may spot wild Barbary monkeys along the way. There will be a brief stop in Ifrane, a clean and modern town known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before heading toward Fes.

Fes - The drive continues to Fes as part of the 3-Day Desert Itinerary from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara Route. Upon arrival in Morocco’s oldest imperial city, the driver will drop guests off at their accommodation, marking the end of their desert journey.
