Aguas Calientes - At 7:00 AM, guests will be collected from their hotel in Cusco. They will then travel in private transport through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Ollantaytambo train station, where they will board a train to Aguas Calientes.
The expedition train journey provides breathtaking views of highland Andean farms and villages, with the Urubamba River winding through them. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, guests will be met and transferred to their hotel.
There will be free time in the evening to enjoy a leisurely walk through this charming town. Aguas Calientes is also known for its hot springs, offering a perfect opportunity for a relaxing soak.
That evening, a local guide will meet guests at their hotel to provide a briefing on the next day’s itinerary.
Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco
Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - The hotel staff will provide a snack box before guests board a bus to the Machu Picchu citadel, a 25-minute journey.
A guide will offer a comprehensive two-hour tour of the citadel, highlighting key sites and providing detailed information.
For those who have booked to climb Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu Mountain, the guide will direct them to the entrance. Please inform us at the time of booking if you wish to hike one of these mountains.
Alternatively, guests can hike to the Sun Gate, which offers a stunning view of the citadel. The Sun Gate is the entry point to the citadel for those on the Inca Trail.
Guests will then take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and board the train to Ollantaytambo.
A representative will meet guests and transfer them back to their hotel in Cusco, with an expected arrival time of approximately 9:00 PM.
