Arrival in Cusco and Train to Aguas Calientes

Cusco - 12:00 pm: Arrive at Cusco airport, meet the representative, and board the comfortable transport heading to Ollantaytambo Train Station, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley.

Note: The drive from Cusco to Ollantaytambo Train Station takes approximately 2 hours.

Ollantaytambo - 3:00 pm: Board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu Pueblo). Enjoy this unique train journey with its captivating scenery along the sacred Vilcanota River.

Aguas Calientes - 5:02 pm: Arrive at Aguas Calientes train station, where the representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel for some rest and rejuvenation.

Note: After checking in at the hotel, you can visit the hot springs or explore the town and its restaurants.

Machupicchu Guided Tour

MachuPicchu Center - 6:00 am: Breakfast at the hotel
6:30 am: The expert guide will pick you up from the hotel lobby and walk you to the bus station.
7:00 am: Board the bus to the main entrance gate of Machupicchu.
7:30 am: Experience a unique exploration of one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, guided by a professional who will share extensive knowledge about this mysterious and enigmatic Inca citadel.
10:00 am: After the guided tour, board the bus back to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
12:20 pm: Board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where you will stay for the night.

Ollantaytambo - 2:30 pm: Arrive at Ollantaytambo train station and meet the representative who will drive you to your hotel located in the ancient city of Ollantaytambo. After checking in, you can explore the beauty of this amazing city and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, walking through its oldest Inca citadel.

Sacred Valley: Ollantaytambo, Moray, Salt Mines, and Chinchero

Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo - 8:00 am: Breakfast at your hotel
8:30 am: The Machupicchu Latin America expert guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby to visit the amazing Ollantaytambo Inca city, an important area with Inca constructions built during the Incan times. This extraordinary Inca citadel features an impressive rock formation representing the Inca god Wiracocha.

Moray - 9:30 am: Board the transport to the next stop at the archaeological site of Moray (circular terraces), which contains an important agricultural system. Moray was possibly one of the most significant agricultural research centers during the Incan times, where experiments were conducted at different crop heights. The arrangement of its platforms creates a variety of micro-climates, with the center of the concentric circular terraces having higher temperatures that gradually decrease outward.

Salinas de Maras - 10:40 am: Continue the journey to the village of Maras to visit the famous Salineras/Salt Mines. The salt is extracted in an artisanal manner, and the Salt Mines consist of about 3,000 small wells that have been exploited since the Inca times, serving as a means of economic exchange.

Chinchero - 11:40 am: After this important visit, drive to the next stop to explore Chinchero and visit the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, where the original Inca walls are still well-preserved. You will also have the chance to visit a weaving center, meet the Chinchero women in their traditional attire, and learn about their textiles.

Cusco - 3:00 pm: Finally, board the transport and drive for an additional hour to Cusco, arriving around 4:30 pm.
