Mount Ararat typically requires a four-day trek, though some climbers reach the summit in three days. All distances and elevations are approximate due to the absence of markers. All necessary climbing equipment, including tents, sleeping bags, pickaxes, hand lamps, and mountaineering clothing and footwear, is provided.
A professional and certified local guide will accompany the group, preparing three meals daily, along with tea. All necessary official permits from state and local authorities will be secured on behalf of the climbers.
This challenging journey is not suitable for everyone. Pre-climb training is advised, and for those with a decent fitness level, guidance on a fitness program can be provided to cover the time needed for permit approval. Luggage and camping gear are transported by horses and mules, so climbers only need to carry items for their immediate personal needs.
