A tasty greek BBQ with local wine will follow (vegetarian options will be available). This is a perfect opportunity for a relaxing swim in the turquoise waters of Small Cyclades. Following a 20 minute sail, you will arrive at the inhabited island of Ano Koufonissi for 2,5 hour stay. At the end our 3rd stop we will arrive at the amazing natural wonder that is Rina Cave on the south coast of Naxos. Wonderful day with Jason - This was our second trip with Jason and we are absolutely thrilled! I cannot understand why some people criticize things about the trip that are completely normal and intended. It is a wonderful old wooden ship, which is exactly why we chose it! The crew was incredibly nice and caring, and the food on board was delicious and absolutely sufficient! And yes, there are actually waves and swells on the sea from time to time! But the crew is very experienced and trustworthy! All in all, even after our second trip with Jason, we can only confirm: it was simply THE highlight of our vacation!!!

Nice little adventure off of the island. - I didn’t really know what to expect from this tour - reviews seemed pretty mixed - so I was pleasantly surprised with this little day excursion. The staff on the boat were very friendly. The ride to our first stop took a while and the sea was quite rough. I’m not sure if that was simply a factor of the weather or if it is always like that. But we were warned we would get wet if we stayed in the front of the boat and they offered to take everyone’s bags inside. The rough sea was rather a highlight for some of my friends! We were splashed over and over and laughed every time. Those who didn’t want to get splashed could go to the back of the boat. It seems the boat holds about 60 passengers, so it’s a large group, but small enough that throughout the day you befriend some of the other passengers. We could snorkel at the first stop and they provided the goggles and snorkels. They cooked lunch while we swam. Lunch was a pleasant surprise - the meat was amazing! They provided a vegetarian option for the non meat eaters. Next up was upper Koufonissi. This had been marketed to us as “the Hawaii of Greece,” which I knew couldn’t be accurate given the lack of lush green vegetation in this part of Greece. But what I did experience was a tiny island that is like the rustic Greece you see in postcards. Beautiful turquoise water, fine sand, fishing boats, white buildings with blue accents, stone roads, kept up just enough to look presentable, yet rustic. There is a lovely beach right near the port and we spent our time swimming there. The next stop was the cave, which was a really cool experience - I’d never swam into a cave before! All in all, it was a fun experience. If you are looking to do something different from spending all day at the beach, this is a fun diversion that still keeps you in the sun and water!

Greek hospitality & great experience!! - What an incredible 👏 cruise!!!!! Koufonissia are like a paradise and cave Rena suoer funny time! The boat is a diamond, we have been there at 15/8 it was full booked but we had a great time. Very good welcome, with coffee ☕ and smiled faces. We meet knew people and we dance all together at the bbq time. You can feel this greek hospitality!! Great souvlake and wine! My husband is a little bit difficult as a person but he was really enjoyed all of that. So, thats a big job for Toni.🫣😂 The boat It was very clean, the toilets it was tiny but very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful for all of us. Fantastic boat, excellent staff, great itinerary - This was a real highlight of our stay on Naxos. Fantastic boat, the staff were excellent, and the itinerary was just great. Swimming in a sea cave will be one forever memory, but the islands were also memorable, and the barbecue food was really good! Not too busy or raucous, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommended.

Good trip but some concerns. - The food was good, the staff was good, the weather was a little uncomfortable because of the wind. The only complaint was that the staff played mostly loudl the greek music they liked without consideration of foreign paying customers .They also drank which I consider is a safety issue ...particularly one guy

Very Good! - It's a very nice experience and it's worth it. Spectacular view, the crew was amazing and so was the music. The only downside was that the souvlaki was not that good.

Not for Wedding Party/Families - I want to start off by saying we were so excited to go on this trip. We were on the island for my Wedding and had 34 adults and 7 children with us on this trip. Off the bat, the boat was packed like sardines! Also, the trip there and back was longer than it needed to be because on how slow the boat went. Regardless, this was the least of my worries. We get to the first stop which has a beach area. We were parked sooo far that it was impossible to get to the beach on the time before being called back. Left to dip in real quick and get out. Food was good and a great amount was serviced. Though, in the description stated there would be local wine included. We were serviced random box wine and only available during lunch hour. There was no bar (as mentioned) and beers were 3 euros. At the second stop, we were given 2:30 hours and left at the port where there was a beach and a small town. Not really much to do. No umbrellas or chair for purchase as well. Last stop was Rina Cave. I was so excited for this as there was also cliff jumping. Again, we were parked so far and only given 45 min on this location that by the time you got to the cave, you had to start swimming back. We were given so much time for stop 2 leaving us with nothing on the last stop. The crew members were very nice, but if you have family or looking to have a little bit of fun and letting loose, this is NOT the trip for you.

Run away if you like snorkeling and calm! - I have already posted numerous reviews on this site regarding day trips by boat in Greece, but this one was the WORST of our experiences. Noise, noise and more noise... the music is loud from the beginning to the end of the day (nothing but boom boom worthy of a nightclub or great classics of Italian music). Strangely on the way back, at the entrance to the port, the captain puts on the music of Zorba the Greek and the crew sets the mood... First diving spot in Koufonissi (good swimming but mediocre site and nothing to see in the water), second spot in Ana Koufonissi (town tour which is very nice and beach with translucent water, 50 cms so no snorkeling...). The third stop is the most beautiful "Rina cave" south of Naxos. On the other hand, even when stopped, the music remains deafening and in the water it is still really painful. On the other hand, this stop is the only one to be snorkeling but it is also the shortest... too bad! The equipment lent is really poor (a few masks and snorkels, a few fries but we didn't see any fins). Zero points for diving safety (no schedule given for the duration of dives, no supervision! Don't come at all, but even less with young children because the boat is not at all suitable. The meal is meh but that's not the most important thing. There was a young girl on board who tried to give some explanations about Naxos but even then it was impossible to hear her. The cruise is 70 euros per person, for 30 euros more, there are quieter boats... Really run away!!!!!
