Amazing Spa Experience with Itrane Spa - A big thank you to Leila holidays for helping us to arrange a Hamam and massage and also a facial with Itrane Spa. We have only been in Agadir for a week but loved the treatment so much, we ended up having three! Booking was so easy. Just a quick WA message to Leila Holidays asking for a day and time and they did the rest. They arranged for a taxi to collect us from our hotel and drop us back after the treatment. The staff at the spa are lovely. We could understand what we were to do. There are free lockable lockers at the spa. You pay at the spa in cash. You will need just a hairbrush, nothing more. When we arrived we were shown downstairs and into a room. We were asked to remove all clothes, handed a basket in which to pop our clothes, and given a pair or black net pants to put on. Ladies and gents, that will be all you will be wearing throughout. If any ladies are like me and the thought of baring all is mortifying, then don’t worry as for some reason you feel quite liberated and safe in their hands. The Hamam is clean and warm and the treatment of being washed and scrubbed all over and shampooed is done in stages and inbetween we were left alone for a few minutes to relax. The water was lovely and warm. Be warned that you may want to hold your breath at times as you are not forewarned when they are going to pour water over your head. Just worth a small mention. This takes half an hour or so. They then wrapped us in towels and dressing gowns, asked to remove our wet pants and given a further dry pair to put on. We were then shown intro another room for the massage where two different ladies were waiting. Now, if you do not want a firm massage then you must say so. My husband loves a firm massage but even for him, the first time we went it was a bit too firm and neither of us had asked them to ease off a bit. That said it was a very thorough full body massage. Expect your masseur to sit between your legs when massaging your back - she will actually climb onto the couch with you. She will also twist, turn, pull and crack you at which point you feel a little battered. However you will feel amazing after! As we had wanted a couples Hamam and massage, it was just the two of us and our treatment ladies in the same room and no one else throughout. When the massage is finished we were left to get dressed and then shown back upstairs to wait for our taxi. Most people left a tip. For info: when we returned the second time, I had a facial instead of the massage part. I would have been in a separate room for this but ended up in the same room as my husband as there was a mixup. The facial was lovely. Quite firm and the treatment was carried out in stages and I was left inbetween them for the scrub/masque/cream to take effect. These treatments were one of the highlights of our holiday. We booked in on the day of our arrival, then mid week and lastly on our final night. They are such good value! We felt completely refreshed and glowing and no, it doesn’t rub off your tan 😃

Great, highly recommended - We have been to this hammam twice because it is great in one word! We were picked up neatly on time from our hotel. The staff was very friendly. The hammam treatment was really delicious. Space nice and warm and we were well scrubbed. Afterwards massage taken. What a good massage this was! If you want to be properly and firmly massaged, you should come here. With big dan to fati, hanane, bahiya and hayat. Ladies, you are amazing and have given us a great day!

Best massage in Agadir - We were picked up from the hotel, free of charge. The man at the front desk is good in English and very accommodating. We had a 45 minute back massage. The massage was amazing and authentic. They are so skillful and intuitive. The only downfall is that is that it was a little bit cold in the room. This was the best massage we have had in Agadir

Unreliable, unprofessional and would definitely avoid - My husband and I made a reservation for a hammam and massage package. The appointment was confirmed. We caught a taxi, at our own expense, to Itrane Spq for our appointment. First impression wasn’t great- looked like a bit of a dump and not what I had expected from the photos. However it went downhill from there. After 5min waiting the gentleman at the desk told us they’d had a group reservation and so couldn’t honour our reservation, which we’d made a week prior to our arrival. He apologies but said we could come back 2 hours later if we still wanted a massage. Based on our experience I definitely wouldn’t recommend Itrane. We subsequently went with a different spa, a 5 minute walk away, and simply based on the reception area I could tell we’d made a huge mistake with booking Itrane Spa. It definitely doesn’t, in our opinion, deserve the reviews it has. I’d say be cautious of wasting your time and money- you can find much better.

DON'T BOOK ITRANE SPA AGADIR, THEY DON'T SHOW UP - DON'T BOOK HERE!! A day before the supposed visit I sent a message via TripAdvisor to check the pick up time: no reply. In the morning of the supposed visit I sent whats app: no reply. Another whats app: no reply. At 16.00 hrs, confirmed time of the visit, no one there to pick me up. Was there since 15.30 hrs so couldn't have missed him. Several calls, both by me as by the conciërge of my hotel, were not answered. At 17.00 hrs still no one there. Next day I saw that my whats app messages have been read. Still no answer. So it was definately an unforgettable experience....... my advise: DON'T BOOK Itrane Spa in Agadir, definately not reliable!!
