Well worth it! - Mohammed was lovely, kept in contact and picked us up directly from our hotel! We then went to ride the camels, the men looking after us made us feel really safe and were lovely. The camels were well looked after and friendly! We went for a bbq after, there was music and dancing. The waiters were absolutely lovely, we were even given seconds! Absolutely worth the money and a fantastic experience 👏🏽

Camel ride - A fantastic turnkey excursion recommended by our super guide Mohamed! After being picked up directly from our accommodation, we were taken to the exit of the town where our camels were waiting for us. We were able to ride with our young children (one adult and one child per camel) and we set off for a two-hour walk to the sea, along the Royal Palace. Arriving at the seaside we were able to enjoy a magnificent sunset and observed the pink flamingos who had come to spend the winter in the warmth. The guides offer you the opportunity to take photos with your own phones, they also have a photographer at the start who takes your photo and offers you to buy the photographs developed at the time of the meal (40 dirhams for 2 photos). At the end of this superb walk, we were invited to sit in a very well decorated restaurant where we were welcomed very warmly by the attentive staff. We were able to taste a delicious Berber couscous, followed by grills and a barbecue, seasonal fruits and finally traditional mint tea! This walk followed by the Berber meal really pleased the children, we recommend it without hesitation!

best! - A two-hour camel ride at sunset was an unforgettable experience. The desert landscapes of Agadir bathed in golden light were magical. Our guide, also a competent photographer, was able to capture these moments. After the ride, a delicious dinner in a traditional Moroccan house, where we discovered Moroccan history and culture. A unique and memorable cultural experience.

A beautiful and authentic experience - We were picked up from our hotel on time in a minibus and taken to the starting point of our camel ride. Everyone had the choice of riding the camel alone or in pairs. After we were assigned our camels and got on, we were off. Although we walked very unspectacularly next to the road for the first few meters, we soon turned into desert-like terrain. Our camel driver was extremely friendly and asked regularly how we were doing on the camels and whether everything was OK. When we arrived at a beautiful spot, he took enough photos of everyone so that we have a nice souvenir. Our destination was a riverbed, which we reached just in time for sunset and from where we were able to take some very nice pictures. Unfortunately, we didn't see any flamingos, which are usually there at this time. After a short break, we started the journey back. After about 1.5 hours on the camels, we arrived back at our starting point and had the opportunity to pet the animals briefly before going to the nearby restaurant for a barbecue. At this point we would like to mention that we had the feeling that the camels were well cared for by Moroccan standards and were fed sufficiently and treated well, in contrast to many other providers. The Moroccan restaurant was in a building that also housed a few shops and we were allowed to look around without the typical crowds of local sellers. The barbecue consisted of a sumptuous, typically Moroccan starter consisting of hummus, vegetables and bread, which almost filled us up before the main course was even served. The second course consisted of meat skewers and sausages, all of which were very deliciously marinated and seasoned. At the end there was fruit and, as is customary in Morocco, tea. The tour guide's wife cooked for us and we were entertained by music in the background. We would like to mention that we have rarely eaten so deliciously in Morocco and would like to compliment the cook! Our tour guide Mohamed took a lot of time with us on the way back so that we could have another look around a small shop in peace. After he took us back to the hotel, we exchanged contact information and went on a private excursion with him on another day, during which he showed us the most beautiful sights in Agadir and, as a highlight, took us to the old fortress on the mountain in front of Agadir, from where we could enjoy a beautiful sunset and then a breathtaking view of the whole of Agadir. We told Mohamed to do the tour to Paradise Valley and pass by a botanical garden, where we have the opportunity to buy the cactus honey that is typical of Agadir. But since he knows the prices there are too expensive, he got us the honey himself for a cheaper price and brought it directly to the hotel. I really want to highlight Mohamed's commitment to us, as he made so much effort to give us interesting insights into the history and life of Agadir and some of the people there, by responding to all of our wishes. We will definitely coordinate our next Morocco vacation with Mohamed in order to get the most out of our vacation and of course to see a great person again. An all-round very successful trip with great experiences and very nice people, which we would absolutely recommend to everyone.
