Alternatively, gather some sweet souvenirs by visiting the fabulous Almond Train, an old converted train carriage offering every variety of almond imaginable, or stop by the iconic Aussie Fruchocs chocolate factory to select some sweet gifts.
It’s time to board the bus again for a short drive to our next winery, the quaint Shingleback Winery. This tasting is wonderfully relaxed, offering a structured sampling of Shingleback’s finest wines. If you’re feeling peckish, you can purchase a cheeseboard to enjoy with your wine.
Now, it’s time to head back towards Adelaide, taking the scenic route to admire the Adelaide coastline as we journey to our final destination of the day - the beautiful seaside suburb of Glenelg.
Here, you have two options. Option 1: Take a 15-minute stroll to explore what Glenelg has to offer before returning to the bus for Adelaide. Option 2: Leave the tour in Glenelg and spend a few leisurely hours enjoying the abundance of shops, restaurants, and of course, the beach. Choose a spot for dinner and prepare to witness one of the most spectacular sunsets in the world.

The tour includes a city tour, a visit to Mount Lofty Lookout, and two hours to explore the charming Township of Hahndorf. Afterwards, the journey continues to McLaren Vale for wine tasting and further sightseeing. Enjoy tastings at the picturesque Chapel Hill Wines and the breathtaking Haselgrove Wines, along with photo opportunities and a scenic coastal drive with a 15-minute stop in the seaside suburb of Glenelg. Participants can choose to stay in Glenelg to watch the sunset and take the tram back to Adelaide at their leisure, or rejoin the tour for a return trip to Adelaide for drop-off.
