Day 01: Addis Ababa – Gondar-Simien Mountains National Park

Addis Ababa - Gather with the group and travel to Sankabar, the entrance to the Simien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Meet with the guides and get ready for the trek.

Trekking Simien Mountains National Park

Debark - Trek from Sankaber to Geech, reaching an elevation of 3,600 meters, which will take approximately 5-7 hours. After about an hour and a half, view the Jinnbar River and its falls, which will be crossed later in the day. Following the river crossing, climb for around 2 hours to reach Geech. The landscape is stunning, and a troop of Gelada Baboons can be spotted along the way. In the afternoon, return to Gondar by vehicle.
