Flight from Addis Ababa to Jinka

Jinka - Upon arriving in Jinka, guests will be warmly welcomed and transferred to their hotel for a brief refreshment. The itinerary includes a visit to the South Omo Research Center. Following this, there will be an exploration of the Ari tribe village and market, before proceeding to Key Afer market, the largest in the Omo Valley, held every Thursday. This bustling market is a hub for the Tsemai, Hamer, and Bena tribes, offering a lively atmosphere that is inviting to tourists.
The journey continues to Turmi, passing through quaint villages and engaging with the hospitable Hamer tribespeople. Around 5:00 PM, there will be a short walk to the Hamer village to observe their daily life. The Hamer women are noted for their unique clothing and jewelry, while the men often don feathers and dark green blankets.
In the evening, there is an opportunity to experience traditional Hamer night dancing, known as Evangadi. Depending on local events, there may also be a chance to attend a Hamer bull jumping ceremony in the afternoon.

Turmi - Omorate - Demeka - Jinka

Omorate - Day 2: Turmi - Omorate - Demeka - Jinka
In the morning, guests will embark on an excursion to Omorate to visit the Dasenech people, recognized for their unique scarifications and as the southernmost ethnic group in Ethiopia. Situated 70 km (44 miles) from Turmi, the semi-nomadic Dasenech people reside along the Omo River, engaging in cattle herding, agriculture, and fishing.
Upon arrival, a dugout canoe will be used to cross the river to reach their village.

Jinka - Mursi - Jinka to Addis Ababa flight

Mursi Village - Day 3: Jinka - Mursi - Jinka
The day begins early with a journey to a Mursi village, located approximately 66 km from Jinka. Here, guests will meet the Mursi people, famous for their distinctive lip plates and ear adornments. After the visit, guests will return to Jinka for their flight to Addis Ababa.
