Great a company visit of the Ethiopian National Museum - We met Mr. Mehari in June 2024 at the National Museum. I visited with my family, and it was a great experience. He guided us through the museum, and we had extensive discussions about the history of Ethiopia, from ancient times and its connection with Sudan to modern and contemporary history. I was amazed by Mr. Mehari’s knowledge and how he explained even the tiniest details of all the monuments inside the building. It was an excellent tour with one of the wisest guides I’ve ever met. I hope to visit Ethiopia again.

Best tour guide in Addis: professional and kind - Mela is a kind man. He is so knowledgeable in the local history and culture in Ethiopia. He was on time, very thoughtful, and super professional. I came here alone by myself as a girl. With Mela’s tour, I felt extremely lucky to explore the city fully and felt so welcome and safe with a local expert guiding me. I would highly recommend anyone interested in knowing about this beautiful land in Africa to book a tour with Mela!

Great Addis Ababa city tour with Melaku! - Amazing Melaku Mehari! With Fitsum of Ethiopian Holidays as your tour guide, you not only get to see the best things but experience the history and culture through the perspective of a one-of-a-kind and genuine local guide that has passion and integrity. It was an eye-opening tour. His Ethiopian pride also inspires your own patriotism which made the whole itinerary worthwhile and unforgettable! Ethiopia is unquestionably a must-see, must-experience destination! If you’re interested in tradition, culture, history, scenery, food, nature, and adventure, the Land of Origins is an astounding choice. We visited an Opal store at the Hilton, Zebra Gallery by Tekle Tsehaye, Taitu Hotel, Tomoco Coffee, and Piazza Gold. While observing Ethiopian lifestyle and structures at the piazza, Fitsum imparted many interesting facts, religious ideologies, and other ethnic realities. It was significantly thought-provoking. It was effortless conversing with Fitsum. Easing into delightful conversations with him made the tour engaging and comfortable. Best Ethiopian tour guide! Thank you, Fitsum!

An excellent tour guide in addis - I met Malaku at the national museum of Ethiopia in February as museum guide and he has been so nice and competent that I saved the contact for my april work visit in Addis. This time he arranged a city tour that has been extremely interesting (museums, market, food, new and old parts of the city) and full oh historical and social details and explanation. Malaku is a lovely and caring person and a very stimulating tour guide I can truly recommend (very good english)

Great day trip in Addis - We had a great day with Mela taking us around to some of the sights of Addis. His background makes him an unusually knowledgeable guide. In particular we enjoyed having him along in the national museum, where he works part time, and seemingly knows everything there is to know about the history of Ethiopia and mankind.

Inspiring and moving - I am a mature female solo traveller and had a 2 day stop over in Addis. Melaku was a very considerate and knowledgable guide, taking me both on a city tour and the country side. I definitely intend to come back to see more of this beautiful country.
