• Addis Ababa - Upon arrival from an international flight or at the hotel, the staff will greet the guests. The first destination is the Ethnological Museum, which showcases anthropological, musicological, and cultural artifacts. This museum is the first university museum in Ethiopia and is situated on the main campus of Addis Ababa University, which also houses the Institute of Ethiopian Studies. The building was formerly the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie.

The second destination is Merkato, established by the Italians around 1937. It is the largest open-air marketplace in Africa, spanning several square miles and employing approximately 13,000 people across 7,100 businesses.

After purchasing essential ingredients for food preparation, the group will proceed to one of the staff’s homes to enjoy:

1. Ethiopia’s national dish, Injera (Enjera), traditionally eaten with fingers.

2. Shiro, a delightful dish made from chickpea powder.

3. Mesir Wot, a delicious and vibrantly colored dish made from split red lentils simmered in spicy berbere sauce.

4. An authentic Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony.

Finally, guests will be transferred to the airport for departure or back to their hotel.
