• Holy Trinity Cathedral - Known in Amharic as Kidist Selassie, Holy Trinity Cathedral is the premier Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo cathedral in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Constructed in 1942 to celebrate Ethiopia’s triumph over Italian occupation, it serves as a significant place of worship. The cathedral houses the tombs of Emperor Haile Selassie, Empress Menen Asfaw, and other members of the Imperial Family.

• National Museum of Ethiopia - The museum is divided into three sections. The basement features a paleontological exhibition with valuable local archaeological finds, including the famous early hominid “Lucy.” The collection is among the most significant in sub-Saharan Africa. The ground floor displays artifacts from the Aksumite, pre-Aksumite, Solomonic, and Gonderian periods. The first floor showcases Ethiopian art from early 14th-century parchment to 20th-century canvas oil paintings.
• Ethnological Museum - The Ethnological Museum, located in Haile Selassie’s former palace and surrounded by the university’s beautiful gardens and fountains, is dedicated to ethnology and culture. It houses anthropological, musicological, and cultural objects.
• Entoto Natural Park - Situated at an altitude of 3,400 meters, Entoto Natural Park was the site of Emperor Menelik II’s permanent camp and palace. It offers a panoramic view of the capital and surrounding countryside. The mountain is densely forested with eucalyptus trees, imported from Australia during Menelik II’s reign and largely planted during Emperor Haile Selassie’s time, earning it the nickname “lung of Addis Ababa.”
