Arba Minch - Begin with a transfer from your hotel to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for a domestic flight heading south to Arba Minch. This southern region is celebrated for its rich diversity of cultures and communities. Upon arrival in Arba Minch, meet your driver and proceed to your accommodation. In the afternoon, take a short drive to visit the Dorze tribe residing on the Guge Mountain. The Dorze are famous for their cotton-weaving expertise and their unique beehive-shaped houses made entirely from natural materials. In their village, you can admire the distinctive huts, witness their remarkable weaving skills, and learn about their lifestyle and traditions.

Arba Minch - Konso - Turmi
Turmi - Travel 90 km to Konso to explore the Konso village, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Konso museum and continue the journey, driving 200 km to Turmi town, home to the Hamar tribe. Along the way, you will visit the Arbore tribe.
Overnight at Buska Lodge
Turmi-Karo-Turmi
Turmi - After breakfast, drive 62 km west to meet the Karo tribe, renowned for their intricate face and body painting. Enjoy a traditional coffee ceremony with a Karo/Kara family in Korcho Village. Return to Turmi for lunch, and consider visiting the Hamar tribal market on Monday or Thursday, or head to Dimeka for the market on Saturday. In the late afternoon, around 5:30 pm, visit the Hamar traditional village and participate in a coffee ceremony in a traditional Hamar house. You might witness the Hamar Bull Jumping Ceremony if it is available.
Turmi – Omo Rate – Jinka
Jinka - Drive 75 km south to meet the Dassanech tribe near the Omo River. Cross the river using a traditional dugout wooden canoe and take a short 10-minute walk to the village. Engage with the Dassanech tribe and visit a family home in the village. Return to Turmi town for lunch and continue the 130 km drive to Jinka. You may explore a vibrant market of the Hamar or Banna tribe in Turmi, Demeka, Aldubba, or Keyafer towns on market days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday) en route to Jinka. Finally, visit the Aari tribe village and proceed to your lodge.
Jinka-Addis Ababa
Jinka - Enter Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe’s village. The Mursi are renowned for the lip plates worn by the women, a tradition whose origins are unknown but is considered by the Mursi as a distinguishing feature from neighboring tribes.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis. Depending on the time, enjoy some final shopping at a souvenir shop. In the evening, savor a farewell dinner at a traditional restaurant with folkloric dance, then transfer to the airport for your flight home.
