      About Lava and Volcano Tours

Prepare yourself for a wild adventure as you voyage through the Pacific on an Armstrong Marine Aluminum Catamaran to Mauna Loa & Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Against the dramatic backdrop of a Hawaiian sunset and Kilauea Volcano, you’ll search for active flows doing their bit to build the islands one lava flow at a time. See the Volcanoes National Park coastline, volcanic black sand beaches, lava sea cliffs, lava arches, marine life, the ever changing Puna Coast, junglescapes and earth's newest lands on this exhilarating adventure excursion.

      Review

The boat takes over an hour to get to the lava flow. It is an interesting journey as the captain follows the coast line whilst the tour guide tells informative stories about everything along the way. Once we got to the destination, it was getting dark and the lava flow was visible on the land. It was 'red' so we were happy! We made a very hasty retreat home and everyone got wet as the boat flew along the bouncing out of the water at top speed.
