The garden features a diverse collection of botanical plant species from around the globe. Some of these were planted by notable figures such as Sir Gordon Guggisberg, General Olisengo Obasanjo, H.E Jerry John Rawlings, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles of Britain, and many others. These plants serve various purposes, including food, medicinal uses, culinary spices, and beautification.
- Tetteh Quashie Cocoa Farm - The Tetteh Quarshie Cocoa Farm, the first cocoa farm in Ghana, was established by Tetteh Quarshie in 1870 and is located in Akuapim Mampong. Visitors can learn about the cocoa plantation process, from planting to harvesting, and the fermentation process that produces raw cocoa beans. These beans are either exported in their raw form or sold to manufacturing companies for processing. Remarkably, two of the original trees planted by Tetteh Quarshie still thrive on the farm, bearing fruit. Ghana is renowned for producing high-quality cocoa and ranks second in quantity after Ivory Coast.
- Adom Waterfalls - Situated in Obosomase in Ghana’s Eastern Region, this attraction is also known as Obosomase Waterfalls. The waterfall cascades over stratified rocks into a clear pool and flows through a forest that was home to indigenous Ghanaian people 400 years ago.
The waterfall consists of two sections: the lower falls and the upper falls. To reach this stunning site, tourists must embark on a 25-minute hike up a hill.
