My Ghana homage experience - My daughter and I did a private tour of Accra, Kumasi, and Elmina with my best friend and her family spending both Christmas and New Year’s in Ghana. My trip was intentional as I went to pay homage to my ancestors who survived the transatlantic slave trade to America. From our airport pick up to our hotel stays, food and tours it was nothing short of amazing!!! Our private tour guide Thompson and driver Richard were with us the entire 10 day trip and treated us like family! We felt very safe and cared for! Learning the history of Ghana’s independence… the power of the Asante people… history behind Kente cloth and the Adinkra symbols… ‘The Markets’… experiencing the slave River & the Castles in Elmina…. and our naming ceremony by a Fante chief…. was indeed an emotional experience and a reckoning with my ancestors and a trip that I’ll cherish FOREVER! A BIG thank you to Thompson and Richard for making our trip so memorable and simply AMAZING! HIGHLY Recommend booking your trip!

My Birthday Adventure in Cape Coast - I treated myself to a solo trip to Ghana to relax and reconnect with the ancestors. I had no specific plans as far as visiting any tourist attractions, but as luck would have it, I met Musah and took the opportunity to visit the Kakum National Park again. He was a pleasure to work with. Very profession and knowledgeable about the history of Ghana and the Cape Coast region. He also took me to a few hidden gems in the country. I would highly recommend his services if you're in the Cape Coast region and looking for a great tour guide.
