• Centre for National Culture, Accra - Pause at Ghana’s largest craft market, offering a chance to hone bargaining skills while shopping for artifacts from Ghana and across Africa in an open-air setting.
• Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park - Explore the final resting place of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President. The Mausoleum, encircled by water symbolizing life, imparts a sense of immortality to Nkrumah’s name, signifying his enduring presence in the hearts and minds of current and future generations.
• Supreme Court of Ghana - Continue along High Street, passing the Supreme Court’s Monument and Holy Trinity Cathedral. Enjoy a break at Osekan Restaurant, with views of the Gulf of Guinea.
• James Town Lighthouse - Head to the fishing village of James Town, one of the oldest settlements, featuring charmingly worn colonial buildings, clapboard houses, and corrugated iron shacks.
