The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called The Sun Temple of Ramses II.The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also Called Temple of Hathor who was the wife of the Sun God so in a symbolic way, the two Temples, that of Ramesses II and that of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Spend around 3 hours there then take the way back to Aswan.

Great experience on Abu simbel tour - Great experience with the tour company. The booking process was really smooth and owner answered all the questions.
The car ride from aswan was smooth, with perfect car condition and good drivers. The guide was good and explained everything well. Abu simbel itself is quite amazing and mesmerizing. Would recommend going there with this company

Visit to Abu Simbel - Visiting Abu Simbel was an amazing experience! We felt super comfortable and enjoyed and relaxed throughout the whole trip. Our driver was so nice and friendly.

Aswan to Abu Simbel - This was a great, targeted tour. The airport pickup was a little bumpy, but communication was great to correct. Then, after a long drive where the driver provided snacks and ice-cold water, we picked up the guide near Abu Simbel and visited the sight. It was an amazing sight to see, highly recommended. Guides cannot come inside, so they explain everything outside to you, then you have free time to roam inside. Guards also offer to take some pretty amazing photos of you; they know the right angles. Overall, I will recommend this company for the trip from Aswan to Abu Simbel and back.

Very professional tour - - The organised tour to abu simbel was an amazing. The driver came on time to pick us up, and the guide at the temple was super knowledgeable and very very good everything was organised in professional manner !

Great experience - Absolutely breathtaking experience at Abu Simbel! The temples are truly magnificent and our guide was friendly, and made the history come alive. The trip was well-organized and totally worth the early start

Not worth the risk - We were a couple and chose the car-only tour from Aswan to Abu Simbel. We were charged 20€ more for pick-up at Asuan Airport (which is closest to Abu Simbel).
The driver was friendly and punctual, the car was clean and spotless, and we made two stops for coffee and water, which is appreciated.
The negative: at one of the stops we were charged £200 for a coffee (worth about 30). It was our first day in Egypt and the driver knew we were being scammed, but he didn’t help us, so we recommend haggling always.
The 3-hour journey by road is long and the driving was fast and unsafe (it reached 170 km/h in some sections).
You pay about €50 per person plus €14 admission fee, and honestly, we didn’t find the temple so impressive as to justify it.
👉 If you want to go, do it by plane from Aswan: safer, faster and avoid the scare.
