As the waters withdrew, the dunes were shaped by the gentle touch of the winds, forming the stunning architectural wonders visible today. Please be aware that during the holy month of Ramadan (March to April), visiting hours at Alwathba Fossil Dunes are limited to the evening. The site will be closed during the first half of the day.
