Sheikh Zayed’s vision for the Grand Mosque was to incorporate architectural styles from different Muslim civilizations and celebrate cultural diversity by creating a haven that is truly diverse and inspirational in its foundation. The mosque’s architects were British, Italian and Emirati, and design inspiration was borrowed parts of Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, and Egypt among other Islamic countries, revealing a glistening architectural marvel with an astonishing capacity of 40,000 worshippers and visitors.
The open-door policy invites tourists and celebrants from all around the world who can witness the spectacular onion-top domes, the reflective pools that engulf the courtyard and the iconic prayer hall, which not only overflows with blissful sunlight but also houses the world’s biggest chandelier and carpet, both meticulously handmade. Be sure to spot the calligraphy encircling the hollows of the domes, etched with verses from the Quran and painted with gold leaves in An-Naskh lettering.

Had a nice day - Got a nice message with location sharing so we could find each other since we came from the cruise boat. Cp Ayoob, told a lot along the way and gave us our time everywhere!
As a 'surprise' for us, he also took a picture of us which he put in a different video and sent to us.

Capital and Gentlemen - He was very kind to show me around and was a good role model for me, even in a luxury hotel. It was easy to understand because they explained the characteristics of each building and who uses it.

Good tour, would do it again. - Ansar was nice and friendly, he knew the city well. Many great photo opportunities and he knew some good spots and angles. Nice way to see many highlights of Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi in Half a Day - If your looking for a brief glimpse of the Mosque this is good. You can always come back and do a more in take your time moments soaking in the marvelous beauty of the Mosque. Time is of the essence for us, so taking this half day tour was ok. Enjoyed the day market and the best photo sights that our driver tour guide took us. He is passionate about showing us where a good picture can be taken of the most sought sight here. Thank you

Top tour - Very enjoyable trip and visit made so by our guide who was informed and knowledgeable helped us out with dress code for the mosque visit which was impressive. Really enjoyed the date market who new so many varieties

Great morning in Abu Dhabi - A great morning Ayoob was very knowledgable, and took us to some lovely places, and knew where the best photo stops were, great photographer too, helped us download our tickets for the mosque and even had robes for those that needed them. There were four of us on our trip so much better than going with lots of other people.
