One Day, Many Olympic Highlights - If you only have one day to experience Olympic National Park from Seattle, this Viator tour is absolutely worth considering. It is a very full day with a lot of driving and van time, but we were able to see so many highlights that would have been difficult to fit in on our own. Walking through the Quinault Rainforest and hiking the Hall of Mosses Trail in the Hoh Rainforest felt surreal, and getting to visit Beach 1 and spend time at Ruby Beach made the day even more special. Lake Crescent was stunning and a perfect final stop before taking the ferry back into Seattle at the end of the day. Long day, but a great way to experience the beauty and variety of Olympic National Park if you're short on time.

It was a great trip! - It is such a great experience with Mark! He is so thoughtful and helpful! He has a lot knowledge of plants, giving us good information about flora and fauna. He also provides water, fruits, snacks and even umbrellas. The trip was really well planned. We stopped at all the must-visit points of interests and ended up on time. We also visited some hidden gems along the way. Definitely sign up for the trip!!! Highly recommended!

The Rainforest Tour was wonderful - Marc did an excellent job planning this tour! My favorite thing was not feeling rushed as I did on a previous tour. This is a beautiful area and Marc was knowledgeable to answer questions. He pointed out photo opportunities along the way and assisted taking photos when asked. The itinerary is perfect with a good balance of stops for scenery & restroom breaks. It is about 11 hours and it covers most of western Washington. Which is great to get a snapshot of the beautiful state in just a short time. The stops are well planned for a variety of rainforest, lodges, beaches and the ferry ride. The stop at Forks (think Twilight) was at an old time diner for lunch. The ferry from Bainbridge to end the day and see the city skyline...another element brought in which was great! At the end of the tour Marc even cared to get us back close to our hotels, which says a lot too. I truly enjoyed the tour and would recommend MAX Tours 100%

The ultimate Olympic day trip form Seattle - This is the most exquisitely planned day trip to Olympic national park one could ask for from Seattle. You get to see the best of rainforests and lakes, beach and ocean, small town vibe and a scenic ferry ride back to pacific sunset with the panoramic view of Seattle skyline. Our guide Rachel is super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and park, and I’d bow to the itinerary maker and the guide’s capability of managing this itinerary so well while I was just enjoying the flow of landscapes the entire day. Frankly it is a bit greedy of me to try to see Olympics national park in just one day and I’d hope I have weeks to myself to enjoy it, but if you only have one day like me, this trip is definitely the one you would want to sign up for.

Exactly what I was hoping for - I’ve wanted to see Olympic National Park for a while, so when I learned I would be going to Seattle for a conference, I started looking for ways to get there. This tour was exactly what I was looking for! I was able to see this beautiful part of the county without having to figure out the logisitics or drive myself! Each stop gave us a taste of the unique landscape and culture of the Pacific Northwest. I barely noticed the drive time because of the stunning scenery (including the Olympic Mountains and Mt. Rainier) and looking for wildlife. Also, the van was comfortable, we were given plenty of drinks and snacks (including chocolate 😋), and we listened to music including from many artists who came from the area. There were plenty of bathroom breaks including suggestions to wait if possible for better ones down the road (I definitely prefer a full bathroom compared to a pit in the ground that many national and state parks have). Marc was a great tour guide. He was friendly and offered to take any pictures we wanted, even recommending the best spots to get a picture. He pointed out interesting plants and iconic places in WA as we drove. He was mindful of time without rushing us and accommodated our group’s preferences (for example, making sure those especially interested in Twilight or Nirvana were able to make the most of our stops). I appreciate the accommodation for lunch with my diet restriction and the phone charging blocks. The ferry ride back into Seattle watching the skyline grow bigger and the sun go down was the cherry on top of the tour. I would definitely recommend this tour and company. I plan to keep them in mind for when I visit this state again!

Not a favorite - We have taken several van tours to National Parks. This was not one of our favorites. The van was extremely uncomfortable compared to other trips. Our driver was careful but unable to talk while driving so it felt like I missed a lot of park onformation.

Cancelled on us - We scheduled our tour weeks in advance. Two days before the trip they asked if we could change days. We couldn't as we only had one full day in Seattle. They said ok. But then they emailed and cancelled due to "mechanical issues.". I guess their crystal ball told them they would have those issues on our designated day. I was a bit miffed and asked if they knew of another tour group. They suggested one, we booked and went with them and had an absolutely fantastic time.
