• Gizeh Plateau - Begin at 8:00 am with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo/Giza by a tour guide to embark on a full-day tour of the Giza Pyramids. Visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos, and then explore the Valley Temple where King Chephren’s body was mummified. Here, you will also get a close-up view of The Sphinx.
• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, though the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, mostly destroyed during the village’s construction.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, some found in a well by Mariette in 1860, with others uncovered in later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Visit The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex. (2:30 hrs spent)

• Statue of Ramses II - The Statue of Ramesses II is a 3,200-year-old depiction of Ramesses II standing. Discovered in 1820 by Giovanni Battista Caviglia at the Great Temple of Ptah near Memphis, Egypt, it is made from limestone and weighs 83 tons. This statue was erected to commemorate the victory over the Hittites in the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 B.C.
• Dahshur lake - Visit the Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids). The Dahshur area is a royal necropolis in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, about 40 kilometers (25 mi) south of Cairo. It is renowned for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BCE. (1 hr spent)
• Pyramid of Unas - The Pyramid of Unas (Egyptian: Nfr swt Wnjs “Beautiful are the places of Unas”) is a smooth-sided pyramid constructed in the 24th century BC for Pharaoh Unas, the ninth and final king of the Fifth Dynasty. It is the smallest Old Kingdom pyramid but is significant for the discovery of Pyramid Texts, spells for the king’s afterlife inscribed into the walls of its subterranean chambers. First inscribed in Unas’s pyramid, the tradition of funerary texts continued in the pyramids of later rulers, through to the end of the Old Kingdom, and into the Middle Kingdom with the Coffin Texts that form the basis of the Book of the Dead.
• Pyramid of Teti - The Pyramid of Teti, located in Saqqara, Egypt, is a fascinating ancient structure built as the final resting place for Pharaoh Teti. It stands as a testament to the ingenuity and architectural skill of the Old Kingdom, attracting visitors worldwide with its impressive size and historical importance.
