- Capuliyoc - DAY 1: CUSCO - CACHORA - PLAYA ROSALINA
The journey begins with a hotel pick-up at 5:00 a.m. for a bus ride to Cachora. Along the way, there will be a brief stop to view the archaeological site of Tarawasi from the bus. The trip continues over the Cunyac bridge, connecting the Cusco and Apurímac regions, and through the district of Curahuasi, reaching Cachora around 10:00 a.m.
From Cachora, the hike commences along a trail leading to the Capuliyoc viewpoint (2800 masl), where lunch will be served. The trek then proceeds to the village of Chiquisqa (1930 masl), with a descending path offering stunning scenery and a warm climate, accompanied by views of the Apurimac canyon. By sunset, the group will arrive at the campsite in Playa Rosalina for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Mirador Marampata - DAY 2: PLAYA ROSALINA - SANTA ROSA - CHOQUEQUIRAO
Following breakfast at 5:00 a.m., the trek continues to Santa Rosa (2100 masl). This day involves a challenging hike, reaching Maranpata (3,800 m) by noon for lunch. The route offers views of the majestic mountains and lush vegetation. After lunch, the journey proceeds to the Choquequirao archaeological complex, arriving in the afternoon for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Choquequirao Inca Citadel - DAY 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO - CHIQUISQA
An early start at 5:00 a.m. after breakfast leads to the stunning ruins of Choquequirao, an hour’s walk away. The tour includes witnessing the sunrise and visiting the sacred USNO, an ideal spot for photography, as well as the emperor’s house, priest’s house, and granaries. The tour concludes at the terraces by noon. The return journey to Sunchupata follows, where lunch is provided. A two-hour descent to Playa Rosalina is next, followed by an hour’s walk to the Chiquisqa campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Capuliyoc - DAY 4: CHIQUISQA - CAPULIYOC - CUSCO
A hearty breakfast is served in Chiquisqa at 6:00 a.m. before retracing the path back to Cachora, with a two-hour ascent to Capuliyoc for lunch. From there, a milder two-hour hike leads to Cachora, arriving by 12:00 p.m. The journey offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and the impressive Apurimac canyon. The group returns to Cusco by 3:00 p.m.
