Amazing experience! - Wonderful experience!! Tough hike but the tour guides Marcos and Sebastian were amazing!! Marcos was extremely informative and FUNNY! Sebastian was kind and compassionate. The food that Amilcar and his team was Top notch!! Best food I had in Peru! But those porters….. they are beasts!! I cannot even imagine doing what they did — hiking with all that weight was surreal! They are truly amazing!! Overall a great experience — truly one for the books!!

A Mucho Wow Wow experience - How can I start, Machu Picchu was overall such a great experience, the trek itself was mentally and physically challenging but so worth it, each time you reach the peak you feel on top of the world, added to the experience we had wonderful tour guides, Marco, and Pepe an absolute saint who pushed me up the hill and provided me with support when I thought I couldn’t reach the top, lucky enough here I am and I COMPLETED MACHU PICCHU! Each breakfast, lunch and dinner we were greeted by the excellent chefs, Daniel and Elizabeth who ensured we had enough food to provide us energy every day. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without our guides, our kind porters who clapped and cheered every time I showed up to camp an hour late, and the dedicated chefs who served us. This was an experience like no other and I couldn’t have completed it without these amazing people!

Hard, rewarding, and inspiring!!!! - Amazing, rewarding, educational. These are only a few adjectives. What a wonderful experience that was only complimented by the excellent guide work of Roger. His knowledge, education, passion, and consideration for this adventure was much appreciate. What a great guide. Also, the effort, hard-work by your ports (Raymundo Rosilito) was exceptional. Their morning, lunch, and dinner feasts were also be remembered. What excellent food in such limited cooking conditions. Every meal was outdone by the next. I can not explain how wonderful the entire TreXperience staff was on this adventure.. Highly Recommend this hiking adventure and these exceptional staffers!!!!!!

Decent trip. Good memories. - Overall, it was a decent trip with enjoyable food throughout. The porters worked incredibly hard to ensure we had comfortable sleeping arrangements and decent camping conditions, which made a big difference in our experience. The tour guides were very adaptable, skillfully adjusting to unexpected situations-especially when some group members became injured or ill. Their ability to pivot and manage these challenges was impressive. However, one challenge was maintaining group cohesion. Since some participants were much faster walkers while others moved more slowly, the pacing was uneven. This sometimes resulted in longer breaks for some and shorter rest periods for others, making it difficult for the guide to keep everyone together consistently. This also meant that we ran out of time to get full explanations of the sites
