The game lasts approximately 2 hours and allows you to play at your own pace. A single ticket accommodates a team of 1 to 4 people sharing one phone; larger groups can purchase additional tickets and compete against each other. Select your preferred start date and time when booking, and begin whenever you’re ready—there’s no guide to meet and no set departure time. Feel free to pause for lunch and resume the case later. A smartphone with internet access is necessary. Your investigation kicks off at Toldbod Plads.

Aalborg becomes the setting for this self-guided detective adventure, where the clues are hidden in plain sight throughout the surrounding streets.

The case centres on the murder of Balthasar, with evidence scattered across the old town - past the Aalborg statue, Gammeltorv, Aalborg Historical Museum and Jens Bangs Stenhus. Players decode messages, photograph anything that seems out of place and question digital witnesses whose stories never quite add up.

Every puzzle solved removes a name from the list of suspects. Whether playing as a couple, bringing the children along, or sending two or three teams out at the same time to turn the investigation into a race, this murder mystery game works just as well for a team outing as for a day out. The final answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Aalborg.
