I live outside the city and rely on small town familiarity and chain coffee shops so I enjoyed being shown around Portland by way of a tour. The shops on the tour are great spaces with great offerings, but best of all is how Laura prearranged being served the standout drinks each place has to offer. Additionally my group had gluten and dairy intolerances and she facilitated providing for each of us a separate tasting which also led to learning about two other Portland businesses that specialize in such needs. Overall Laura did a great job of taking care of the details in ways that surprised and delighted.

We had a wonderful time on our coffee tour! It gave us a chance to see more of Portland and to learn more about the local coffee scene! I would definitely recommend this tour!

Great to use public transit, great choices of stops. Cupping, a great activity. One thing, at our first stop we had a flavored latte, I think. Another stop had espresso w chocolate whipped cream. All very good, but not strictly coffee, but rather coffee-based drinks. Maybe start w single pours? This is 3rd wave, part of, yes? Doable w a group of 11? Maybe not. Just a thought Anyway, hope you have a chance to try Yemenni Port of Mokha coffee, imported by Mokhtar of our favorite book. 5 packs of 23 g (350 ml) for $50. Worth it. See ya Mike : - )
