Amazing day at Santiago - Christina, our tour guide, delivered a wonderful experience from the very first minute. She was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and easy-going. Though she humbly stated she was just doing her job, her passion for the history and culture of Galicia was clearly evident. Furthermore, communicating with the company representative, Sylvia, was seamless. Highly recommended!

Definitely worth a visit. - We had time to walk around the city before the tour actually began. The tour in the church and the museum was in the afternoon. It was all fascinating, but I wish we had had time to explore the museum. We went up to the roof, but not in the museum itself. We learned about the town, its history, and the many religious relics in the church.

Spectacular Santiago de Compostela! Buen Camino! - We traveled on a European cruise from which we have taken tours in France (from Le Havre seaport: Deaville and Honfluer. From Vernon seaport: Bordeaux). Cristina was the most professional, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable caring guide we have ever had!! Phenomenal!!! The Santiago de Compostela tour was spectacular! Thank you and thank Cristina for her extraordinary work! Muchísimas gracias!!!!

This was a wonderful tour of Santiago - We really enjoyed this tour. Christina was our tour guide and she did a great job. She really cared about giving people a great experience. She had a lot of knowledge about the history of the area. You could tell she did her research. If I could, I would give her 10 stars.

We booked this excursion... - We booked this excursion last minute when our cruise line changed our itinerary the night before our stop in A Coruna. We couldn't have asked for a better Plan B. Christina was an amazing tour guide and kept us all entertained and learning lots. We had the perfect length of free time mixed with the guided tour. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Thank you Christina and our bus driver An!!

Santiago on a rain free autumn day - Thoroughly enjoyed. Cristina was a superb guide with boundless enthusiasm. Perhaps a little short on places on tour other than Santiago Cathedral which is fantastic Amount of free time for lunch and shops is just about right.

strenuous but excellent. worth the price. guide was excellent. - my experience was excellent. i had read in the description that we’d be required to walk long distant and climb stairs. obviously some of the other older ladies held us up and complaining to tour guide. she was beyond patient with them. santiago is approximately an hour drive away in a big comfortable bus. a toilet break at the bus depot before a walk to the square. bring toilet paper. mostly flat. shop bakers offering free almond samples along the walk. guide will be providing history on the ride and walk and gives a run down of the days plan and what time to meet where. clear instructions. then we are cut loose on our own until 1 pm for free times and lunch on our own. at 1 we are to meet outside the cathedral where we begin museum and cathedral tour for and hour walking and climbing stairs will be included. of course some stragglers leave us searching so we can gather and walk back to the bus for our departure home. our guide was taking attendance often. we were back to our ship as promised 3:30 and hour before all aboard. if you are in a wheelchair or have difficulty walking or standing for long periods a visit to Santiago de la compostela is NOT for you. there are really no chairs or benches to sit and rest others than cafes may have a few tables for customers.

Not for the walking challenged. - It's NOT for anyone with limited walking abilities due to age. It's a very strenuous and long uneven surface walking and a lot of steps. Please put that information in this tour.
