it was a great time on the water. The Capt. and first mate we courteous and friendly. Made it clear we could enjoy the boat - go up to the bow etc.
The captain and the first mate both were great. Engaging, informative, fun to be on board with! It was an amazing day weather wise and we were able to get close to things and see the entire bay! It’s a view of SF I never have seen before even when I lived there!
Our group enjoyed the sailing. Crew was very accommodating.
captain & first mate were great, however overall, for the money not worth it.
The experience was very enjoyable but we arrived at the check in time but no one appeared for another 10 mins. The crew were very pleasant but unfortunately there wasn’t much wind so it was a bit of a slow uneventful sail and we had to use the engine to get back.
The ride was OK, like was promised, but there was no second drink as announced.
Not responsible for the poor wind
It was awesome and the staff was really friendly.
Cruise was nice, but what would have made it perfect is some info on the bay, boat, area, birds... Not full 90 min but a few Thanks
The crew were very nice. I was not aware that I'd have to be confined to one seat the whole time. It would've been nice to be able to walk around. I think that only 10-15 people max should be allowed. My son and husband had to just sit on the deck the whole time. Everything else was good.
The sail was as advertised, a 90-minute sailing cruise on the bay, with drinks provided. That's what was promised and delivered, and I shouldn't really expect more than that. Just a slow easy sail. I have no complaints, but it was not very exciting or entertaining either. I enjoyed it mildly.
In a city like San Francisco I'd like to see a better selection of local beer instead of Budweiser & coors lite.
Fun, friendly, as advertised. It was very cold at times so be sure to bring many layers.
Relaxing and casual sail out to the Golden Gate and then back around Alcatraz. Great winds, beer, and company.
The boat, first mate and sail were great, the captain, not so much. Barely spoke a word and had a scowl on his face the entire sail like he'd rather be doing ANYTHING else. Could have been a lot of fun.
I loved the sail but I was expecting a little more interaction with the hosts. We didn't realize that this wasn't a "guided" tour with facts about the area etc. But the crew were very friendly and we really enjoyed it.
They were friendly – the tour was enjoyable – we all had a great time
Fabulous trip. We truly enjoyed our introduction to San Francisco by way of sailing trip on "The Bay". The Captain and crew were charming and the boat was not only beautiful but very comfortable.
The staff was helpful, friendly and responsive in setting up the sail. The sail itself was a tremendous experience. Our party included myself, husband and our son (17) who is a seasoned sailor. We all found it a terrific experience and a tremendous way to get close to the breathtaking beauty of the Bay. The Captain and first mate were skilled sailors and had great sense of humor and the boat was in good condition. Frankly, it was a great bargain as well. We have already recommended it to friends who are planning to visit San Francisco and will probably do it again ourselves when we find our selves in the City. So much better than other options to tour the bay. Highest marks all around
We decided to take my brother out on the boat for his birthday - Caleb was very friendly, informative and provided our drinks in a timely manner. The boat was nice but would have been a better experience if they didn't overload it to the point where we had to sit on the ground. Overall, fun experience, worth the views of the city from the bay, and nice touch with the drinks.
Caleb and Michael were great! The water is a bit bouncy and windy the day we chose to go, thats no fault of the crew! I enjoyed the drinks and the views overall!
Great boat and sail but a little crowded with 28 guests and the two crew members.
Our self-proclaimed tour guide barely gave us any detail about what we were seeing. He also didn't give us any drinks, although I think we (my boyfriend and I) were the only ones he overlooked.
The captain and first mate we're professional, and friendly. Wonderful sailing experience, not a big touristy cattle car...which we appreciated. If you want the typical tourist yackity yack, try another boat. We had a great time...wine was nice too.
The sail was totally awesome, as was the staff. The company provides specific instructions and information prior to the sail. I found that everything provided was what was performed and all information was accurate. The sail itself was beautiful and Ricky made sure that everyone was taken care of. I have recommended you to friends and family. In fact, one has already scheduled the tour. I was highly satisfied as were all members of my party. This was a totally awesome experience and I would do it again!
The trip was fun but I would have liked getting closer to the Golden Gate Bridge.
