It was not as per expectations.
The boat was small with limited mobility. Plus we didn't go all the way to the golden bridge gate.
Nice trip and a really nice Skipper!
Our sail was wonderful! The captain and the crew were great-- But we were not able to have much interaction with them. Loved the sail around Alcatraz. Would have loved to get a bit closer to the GGB-- I would recommend the San Francisco Sailing Company Tour to anyone who visits San Francisco.
I thought we were going to go under the Golden Gate Bridge, which we did not, and we were told that we would get 2 drinks each. That did not happen. It was only one, and the drink came late.
very satisfied. it there was a higher rating I would have chose it.
The sail was beautiful, but we would have liked at least a quarter of the trip to be more of a "tour" with some narrative, etc. While the sailors made it clear they would answer questions, if there were any, they didn't have much to say otherwise. If there's no verbal "tour" it should be billed as simply a 90 minute sail, not a 90 minute sailing tour. Not that the sailors weren't friendly, they were, I guess providing info just isn't part of the package.
Had a wonderful time! We enjoyed great views of the city with good company and 2 included drinks.
We had a fun time on this sailing cruise!
Our 90-minute sail went straight past Alcatraz to Angel Island and then back, and didn't go near the Golden Gate Bridge or along the waterfront. That was disappointing, but might have been due to how windy it was. We otherwise had a great time on the boat. I recommend you provide more clear and thorough directions to find S.F. Sailing Company. We had a difficult time finding S.F. Sailing at dock F. We knew only "Pier 39," and I expected the main map would show S.F. Sailing Company but it didn't. We were very fortunate that a Blue-and-Gold employee guided us to dock F.
it was a nice last minute idea and the crew were very accommodating getting drinks. the only thing we would of liked more is get a little closer to the golden gate bridge.. we thought the description mentioned that.
it was a great time on the water. The Capt. and first mate we courteous and friendly. Made it clear we could enjoy the boat - go up to the bow etc.
The captain and the first mate both were great. Engaging, informative, fun to be on board with! It was an amazing day weather wise and we were able to get close to things and see the entire bay! It’s a view of SF I never have seen before even when I lived there!
Our group enjoyed the sailing. Crew was very accommodating.
captain & first mate were great, however overall, for the money not worth it.
The experience was very enjoyable but we arrived at the check in time but no one appeared for another 10 mins. The crew were very pleasant but unfortunately there wasn’t much wind so it was a bit of a slow uneventful sail and we had to use the engine to get back.
The ride was OK, like was promised, but there was no second drink as announced.
Not responsible for the poor wind
It was awesome and the staff was really friendly.
Cruise was nice, but what would have made it perfect is some info on the bay, boat, area, birds... Not full 90 min but a few Thanks
The crew were very nice. I was not aware that I'd have to be confined to one seat the whole time. It would've been nice to be able to walk around. I think that only 10-15 people max should be allowed. My son and husband had to just sit on the deck the whole time. Everything else was good.
The sail was as advertised, a 90-minute sailing cruise on the bay, with drinks provided. That's what was promised and delivered, and I shouldn't really expect more than that. Just a slow easy sail. I have no complaints, but it was not very exciting or entertaining either. I enjoyed it mildly.
In a city like San Francisco I'd like to see a better selection of local beer instead of Budweiser & coors lite.
