The tour overall was very enjoyable. Mark was our guide. Wish he would have had a little more to say about the ecology and geology of the rivers. I had asked friends to join us and was a bit uncomfortable when Mark mentioned tips would be appreciated. The tip box should just be put out and nothing more said. Overall we and our friends seemed to thoroughly enjoy the evening, the unique boat and all the history we learned.

The docent did a fine job. He knew the facts and presented them in an enjoyable way. Good way for us to celebrate our 59th anniversary! (We must have gone past the place where the dead body was found the next day! Yikes!)

Superb tour guide - knowledgeable, witty & fun!
Lots of great information, not only history of Fort Wayne and that area but also news about upcoming projects. It was a great experience, and we will be telling our friends about the tour. It was hot that night, but well worth our time! We liked seeing the sunset and the lights on the MLK bridge as we returned.
We enjoyed the canal boat ride despite the cold and damp day. Our tour guide was excellent! Thank you!
I enjoyed the history of the area and it was great to see Ft Wayne from a different perspective. I would recommend it to others.
It was a very good tour. Somewhat Satisfied because it is not finished. Gives me a reason to go again. I went twice and enjoyed both times. The construction made it very hard to get there with a rolator walker. I'm thankful that family helped of the 8 steps.
The Sweet Breeze was very clean, the crew was admirable, the trip it self was very informative, more so with the volunteer that gave narration on the different segments of each river. I got to see the city of Fort Wayne from a riverfront perspective, not normally seen! I would highly recommend taking any of the Sweet Breeze trips!!
We really enjoyed the tour guide. A lot of history.
Fun activity, professional staff members, and knowledgeable guide. Fun for visitors and licals.
Everything about this experience was top notch. From the care and knowledge of the captains to the docent's narration throughout the trip, it was wonderful. Thank you for providing this opportunity to see the hidden face of Fort Wayne. I'll be back!
Best historical tour of Fort Wayne we have ever had - can't wait to take more family members on this great boat! Very relaxing, very low tech, learned so much about what the rivers and past have done to shape what we are today. Would recommend this to all in the tri=state area!
everyone was very helpful. we brought my 90 year old parents and your employees went out of their way to make sure they were comfortable. my wife and i took this tour last year so we thought that my parents would like this. they loved it. the only negative and it's a very small negative is the narrator wasn't as good as the one last year. last year's was very knowledgeable about fort wayne and the rivers.
This tour was fantastic. I can't say enough good about it. We have lived in the area for almost 30 years, and we learned a ton. The docent (Mark?) was fun, interesting, and knowledgeable, and was able to keep up a nearly constant narrative of many, many points of interest along the route. We went as a gift for my parents on their 61st anniversary, and we just had a great time. This is highly recommended for everyone - our tour group ranged from about 8 years old, up to 86 years old, and it held everybody's interest.
The tour of the three rivers while traveling in a canal boat was so much fun.
Excellent trip. The crew and tour guide were great.
This is my second trip and I still heard new things about Fort Wayne and the river history.
Our docent was very knowledgeable and made the trip fun and interesting. We learned about the past and the present Fort Wayne. The ride was smooth and comfortable.
We enjoyed the ride and learned a lot about the river. We sat in the back of the boat but couldn't hear the speaker very well. It was even worse every time he turned away from us.
I had a great time. It was serene, beautiful, and educational. And, the weather was perfect.
The staff and lecture information told me things about FW that I never knew in my lifetime of living here.
Enjoy the ride very much learned a few things about Ft Wayne I didn't know & I like the gentleman who told us about Ft Wayne was very good
The docent was very knowledgable, the weather great and the ride was peasant and relaxing. The communiaction of where to park, when to show up etc. were all very helpful. We've passed the good word on to others. One suggestion would be for the docent to use the microphone. Even though his voice was loud, the talking of the riders often made it difficult to hear what he was saying.
The tour was good but my group of 23 ladies was not totally satisfied with the seating. They allowed a smaller group to bypass us and what seating was left was backless, small benches. The seating should be equal in quality. One lady felt it was overpriced.
We thought the tour guide dude Avery good job. He made it very interesting.
We had to sit in the very front because of my elderly mother-in-law's walker. The front part where we sat did not give a very good view of the river. Along with being very warm and no breeze we couldn't see forward at all, which was disappointing. They should install some kind of windows in the front part of the boat so that passengers could at least see out to the front of the boat. Really need better accomodations elderly and handicapped customers. The narration part of the tour was very good.
The narrator did not have a microphone, so we only heard about half of what he said which was very disappointing. My mother wears hearing aids, so she heard even less. There is not light fixture in the bathroom and I could not figure out how to flush the toilet, sorry. I was wearing my prescription sunglasses and it was too dark to see. We sat on benches that did not have backs on them which added another challenge. The employees tried very hard to make the experience enjoyable, they were well dressed and very friendly. Good signage to find out way. The schedule was punctual which I always appreciate. Lovely boat. Hope you can work out the kinks as it is a nice idea.
It was an informative, enjoyable trip along Fort Wayne's three rivers! Our docent, Mark, was a wealth of information!
This is our second River Boat Cruise. The docent is wonderful! The crew are fantastic!! So enjoyable.
So interesting, the history around the rivers. Our guide was excellent. Easy to listen to and his stories just flowed. I will recommend it to friends.
Excellent volunteer story teller. Smooth ride. A bit crowded...full load.
I chose this tour for my 86 year old mother and it was perfect. It was relaxed and informative.
We ended up standing on the bow because the guide was right next to my head and a fire extinguisher in my back and my daughter was stuck in corner. It turned out ok but for the price, seating could have been better.
Making reservations was very easy, and when I had to make some adjustments, things were handled efficiently and in a friendly manner. The day of the cruise was exceedingly hot...the crew brought along extra water, were pleasant and knowledgeable throughout. Our guide was very informative about the sights we saw along the way. The only thing I could have wished for was more early history about the area of the rivers from Indian days and the early battles and settlement of Ft. Wayne. I had family with me from all over the country and they really enjoyed the trip, too. Well done !
Good tour guide, very relaxing ride, 1st time on rivers & have lived here all my life. Learned some history, plans for river projects, etc. Good overall information.
Sweet Breeze is a sweet ride! Relaxing. Lovely. Interesting history. Courteous & thoughtful staff.
This was my 2nd trip this season. This time I brought a friend from out of town. She loved it!!
I purchased this trip for my grandmother's birthday. It was a very nice trip with a lot of historical knowledge. Overall, we enjoyed it. The only areas I feel could improve would be the chairs being so close to one another, there isn't much leg room. And the price is a little on the high side, as I paid $113 for 3 adults and 1 child.
Great tour, informed guide.
The tour was excellent. I couldn't believe how much history of Fort Wayne that was presented, and how interesting it was. I'm sorry, but I don't remember the tour guides name, but he did a fantastic job, in presentation, pace and tone. I will be recommending this tour to my friends, and will also return when we have out of town guests.
This was a wonderful experience. The docent was very knowledgeable. I learned and saw things I have never experienced before. I will be back.
