Second Day: Sakkara, Pyramids, and the Sphinx
Embark on a tour to the world’s oldest stone structure, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep in 2670 B.C. Next, transfer to the Giza Plateau to witness the Great Pyramid, the only surviving wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders. The Egyptologist guide will reveal many secrets and mysteries of this monumental tomb of King Khufu. Also, visit the Sphinx. A lunch break is included. Later, transfer to Cairo International Airport for a flight to Aswan, with an overnight stay at a hotel in Aswan.
Third Day: Aswan, Philae Temple, and the High Dam (B, L, D)
In the morning, visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, mother of Horus. This temple, built during the Greco-Roman era on the Island of Love, was saved by UNESCO from submersion after the construction of the dam in 1932. Also, tour the High Dam, built with the assistance of the USSR in 1960, considered the greatest project of its time. Due to Lake Nasser, many temples were relocated. Afterward, check in to a 5-star Nile cruise.
Fourth Day: (B, L, D) Kom Ombo Temple
After sailing, visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the gods Sobek, the crocodile, and Horus, the falcon. Also, visit the Crocodile Museum. Overnight in Edfu.
Fifth Day: (B, L, D) Edfu Temple
After breakfast, visit Edfu Temple, the house of the falcon god Horus, Lord of the Sky. This is one of the most well-preserved temples in Egypt. The Egyptologist guide will accompany you on a horse carriage ride to and from the temple. Then, sail downriver towards Esna to cross the lock, with an overnight stay in Luxor.
Sixth Day: (B) Luxor Tours and Departure to Cairo
After breakfast, tour the west bank of the river, visiting the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs hid their tombs in the western mountains, including the tomb of the young pharaoh King Tutankhamun. Enjoy the magnificent temple of the female pharaoh Queen Hatshepsut and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Cross the river to the east bank of the Nile to visit the house of the god Amun, Karnak, one of Egypt’s highlights and the largest temple ever built. Experience the spirit of the god in the Great Hypostyle Hall, which consists of 134 columns. Drive to see the Avenue of Sphinxes connecting the two temples, leading to Luxor Temple, a religious complex built by King Amenhotep III and King Ramses II around 1330 B.C. Then, transfer to Luxor International Airport for a flight to Cairo, with an overnight stay in Cairo.
Seventh Day: (B) Cairo, the National Egyptian Museum, the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, and Khan el Khalili Market

This will be followed by local flights to Aswan, and a 3-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We will be visiting the Philae temple, the high dam, Kom_ombo temple, Edfu temple, Valley of the kings, Hatshepsut temple, Karnak temple, and Luxor temple. A local flight will bring us back to Cairo where we will tour the National Museum, the alabaster mosque, and the khan el khalili market.
