Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, Memphis & Sakkara
Pyramids of Giza - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then at 8 am, our expert tour guide will pick you up to begin a full-day visit to the Giza Pyramids. You will explore the Great Pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Visit the Valley Temple, where priests mummified King Chephren, who built the second pyramid at the Giza Plateau. Here, you can also get a close-up view of the Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren. Our guide will assist you in taking professional photos.
Lunch is included between visits at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each person, though beverages are not included.
Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Continue your tour to the Sakkara area, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, also known as the Zoser Pyramid, an important part of the pyramid evolution from a simple mastaba to its well-known form. This pyramid is considered the first stone structure in the world.
Memphis and Sakkara - Drive to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Egyptian Museum, Citadel, Khan El Khalili Bazaar & Lunch
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - After breakfast at the hotel, depart by A/C vehicle back to Cairo. Begin your day tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, showcasing a rare collection of 5,000 years of art, the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are displayed, including the Tutankhamen collection of treasures, gold, and jewelry, which remained in his tomb for over 3,500 years until its discovery in the 1920s.
Cairo Citadel - Next, visit the Cairo Citadel, a medieval Islamic-era fortification built by Salah ad-Din (Saladin) and further developed by subsequent Egyptian rulers. It served as the seat of government and residence of rulers for nearly 700 years, from the 13th to the 19th centuries. Its strategic location on a promontory of the Mokattam hills offers a commanding view of the city.
Khan Al-Khalili - Continue your tour to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where numerous shops trade in fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more. (1-hour visit)
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
Day Tour to East and West Bank in Luxor from the Train Station
Valley of the Kings - Upon arrival at Luxor Train Station, the tour guide will be waiting with a sign displaying your name. You will then be transferred to start your full-day tour of the East and West Bank in Luxor. Visit the Valley of the Kings, known for its magnificent architecture used for burial. Many kings are buried here, including King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, King Ramses VI, King Merenptah, and Amenhotep II.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Follow with a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, known as El Dir El Bahari, built by Queen Hatshepsut, the daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C.), the only pharaonic woman to reign over ancient Egypt.
Colossi of Memnon - Continue your tour to the Colossi of Memnon, the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.
Lunch break at local restaurants, offering a full meal for each person, though beverages are not included.
Temple of Karnak - Transfer to the East Bank in Luxor to visit Karnak Temple, the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Luxor Temple - Conclude your day tour with a visit to the Temple of Luxor, built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty.
Luxor - You will then be transferred to the train station in Luxor to take the sleeping train back to Cairo.
Giza Station and Transfer to Cairo Airport
Cairo - Upon arrival at Giza Station, you will be met with a sign displaying your name and transferred back to Cairo Airport, marking the end of services.
