Overall great experience. Small classes with "super" experienced Instructors. Great balance of classroom and getting out on the water for hands on sailing instruction. Just a great introduction to sailing that totally motivated me to continue to pursue sailing as a great pastime to build on and to enable chartering sailing vessels around the world.

I came in from out of town. CPT Lucy and Jack were very helpful finding a way to run a class during the week. CPT Ken was our instructor. He was a great instructor. 101 is a show and tell type class and he did that very good. I liked the way he worked all 4 students into a rotation and his style was relaxed and able to make corrections on our performance that made it feel like a group performance.
Coming back for more courses! If you travel into town, book a night on the sailboat.

Our experience with the ASA 101 course was excellent from start to finish.
The registration process was smooth, and we received our course materials on time, allowing us to prepare ahead of the two-day class. Our instructor and skipper, Olen Howard, was outstanding—he made the learning experience engaging, enjoyable, and truly rewarding. We left the course feeling confident and inspired.
