The course was extremely fun and informative. While it seemed to be extremely daunting when first reading the book, it began to make a lot more sense after getting on the water. If you have ever been interested in learning to sail, I highly recommend this course. I would also recommend South Coast Sailing Adventures as a great place to go to take the course if you are in the Houston area, the staff there were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in learning the information needed to pass the course. Also inspiring in my wanting to learn more about sailing. See you on the water.

Captain Ken made sure we were very prepared for test day. The content of the course was well explained and shown by the knowledge of Capt. Ken. He was able to provide examples in multiple ways so each of us in class could understand. He was stern but precise. Coming from someone with no knowledge of boats after the class I felt confident that I could sail a boat. Thank you to South Coast Sailing for playing a positive part in our journey of living aboard a sailboat!
