Top tour company - We had the best experience with major safari. The tour guide was fantastic and so was our driver. They were so helpful and informative. Loved our trip, seeing the temples and elephants Would definitely book with this company again

Ko Samui Jungle Safari Tour Review - This tour was amazing. We had a private tour, and the driver was so nice and respectful. I will talk about what we did and our experience. Firstly, from our hotel, we travelled to a temple that consisted of a statue of many Gods, including Buddha. It was a spectacular experience. However, it seemed that the river had overflowed and had flooded parts of the temple. We then travelled to another Buddha Statue. The shops that were around the temple had such a nice variety of items, such as clothes, hats, and jewelry. The next destination was the Grandmother and Grandfather rocks. It was situated near a rocky beach. It was a perfect place to take many pictures. This was one of the highlights of the journey due to the food stalls around the rocks. There was a wide variety of fruits such as mangoes, watermelon, jackfruits, and bananas. Since we had a private tour, we had to get our own lunch from a restaurant, and this wasn't included in the tour. After lunch, we went to see the Na Muang Waterfall. We were able to swim and trek around the waterfall, which was a great experience. This place was also an amazing place to take many pictures. Lastly, we travelled up a mountain to the highest point in Ko Samui. The views were extraordinary. There was a temple at the top overlooking Ko Samui, and this was an amazing ending to the tour. Overall, I definitely recommend this tour as people around us were amazing and created a positive environment. The views and experience as a whole were worth it. Therefore, when coming to Ko Samui, this tour should definitely be on your list, as the tour takes you around Ko Samui.

A good mix - The temples are great to wonder round, then up into the hills for some incredible views and fast driving through them, whilst you are strapped to the top 🤣 lunch was tasty, and the waterfall is ok, but you don't really get enough time there. There are some other bits along the way that break up the journey. This a great tour

Must try trip - A memorable experience. Trip was well organized and the tour operator were well informed and very friendly. Thankfully the weather was on our side that day and we could enjoy traveling through the forest visiting various locations across the island. Very well priced and enjoyable trip. Only suggestion would be to improve the quality of lunch rest every thing else was great.

Great experience, but in a bigger group than expected - Plus: + All of the spots were beautiful, and worth seeing + The drives between were an adventure for sure + Sitting in the top seats was amazing + The tour guides were knowledgeable and nice people + Pickup and dropoff worked perfectly and on time + The island is amazing, and we saw parts that are very hard to reach + Lunch was good and the view was great Minus: - The stops were rather short (due to limited overall time, and the number of stops in the tour) - The group size was rather big (30-50 people in our group), so the attractions were swarmed just by our group alone - The descriptions were rather short and hard to understand (acustically and languagewise), for more detailed information you had to ask the guide directly - Many tourists did not show any respect for the cultural heritage shown on the tour (climbing on statues, ignoring the "keep silent" signs, entering temples in bikinis etc) Overall, the tour was very nice, the nature and views were fabulous and would have been impossible to reach for us otherwise, the only downside really was the mass of tourists.

Nice but too many people - The tour guide showed up after we walked around the first tour site. At other sites she didn’t give a Lot of description about the sites. Also, I thought we were going to visit a rubber plantation.

Koh Samui Jungle Safari Tour (Over priced taxi service) - If you have absolutely nothing else to do in Koh Samui, I still wouldn’t recommend this tour. We booked based on the reviews, but we honestly feel the people who wrote them must have been on a completely different tour. We even questioned whether the reviews actually relate to what we booked. This was the most boring thing I’ve done in Thailand. We were picked up at 8:30am and then spent time collecting eight other people. There were 10 of us in total, all bouncing around in the back of a truck for around 5 hours the full trip was 8 hours. The first two stops, Wat Plai Laem and the Big Buddha, are worth visiting, but they are very easily accessible on your own. When we arrived, we realised there were four more trucks full of people on the same tour. You only sit on the roof of the vehicle for around 20 minutes out of the full eight hours. Which we was looking forward to the most. So disappointing. After more driving, we finally got to sit on the roof, which was enjoyable but very short and nothing like the pictures suggest. We then drove for about an hour to another Buddha statue high up in Koh Samui. This site was neglected and damaged, which was embarrassing considering it’s included on the tour. The Magic Garden was another underwhelming stop. It was extremely overcrowded, with people climbing on everything, making it difficult to appreciate anything properly. After this, we were taken for a buffet lunch. The food was barely warm, bland, and came with a single bottle of water. The next stop wasn’t listed on the itinerary at all – a coconut workshop. The guide spoke briefly about coconuts and their uses, then we were ushered straight into a gift shop to buy things. At this point, we noticed several people exchanging looks as if to say, “Is this it?” We considered getting a taxi back to our accommodation, but the price was too high. One family actually left the tour at this point as they was so disappointed. The waterfall was next. We came prepared to swim, as did others, but because so many trucks arrived at the same time it was overcrowded. There were no proper facilities to change or dry off, and swimming would have been with a full audience. Not a single person from our group went into the water. Next was another shrine. I’m not sure why this is called a safari when there are no animals involved – just statues and shrines. By this point, we were completely mentally done. After being in the back of a truck for five to six hours, we just wanted the day to end. While the location was nice, it’s free to visit and easily reachable on your own. The final stop was a beach with rocks that supposedly resemble male and female reproductive organs, which felt like absolute nonsense. Once back in the truck, the drivers came around with a tip box. While I’m not against tipping, pressuring people like this is unfair. Overall, this trip lasted eight hours, and at least five of those were spent being bounced around in the back of an overcrowded 4x4. It was boring, uncomfortable, and nothing about it was fun. I will be making a formal complaint to the company, as I don’t feel the reviews and pictures accurately represent this activity and believe it has been falsely advertised. This is not a safari — it’s an overpriced taxi service.
