Adventurous day with friends at Abydos - We booked this tour as a group of four friends and had a blast. The drive to Abydos gave us time to catch up and enjoy the scenery. When we arrived the temple looked even bigger than the pictures. We explored the halls and found the Osiris chambers which are mysterious and dark. Our guide told us about the rituals that used to happen there. We spent around three hours walking through the site. The atmosphere was adventurous and exciting. The staff kept us hydrated and made sure we were comfortable. The crowd size was moderate but it never felt crowded. This is best for friend groups who want to explore together. The admission fee was included and the whole day felt like an adventure. We also had lunch at a local house which was delicious and authentic. I loved every part of this tour and would do it again with more friends.

Abydos exceeded all my expectations completely - We booked this tour last minute and honestly it turned out to be the best decision we made in Luxor. The drive to Abydos felt long but our guide kept us entertained with stories about Egyptian history. When we finally arrived at the temple I was shocked by how empty it was compared to Karnak. We walked through the halls and saw the famous Abydos Kings List carved on the wall. Our guide explained how this list helped historians figure out the order of the pharaohs. We spent about two hours there just wandering and taking photos. The atmosphere was peaceful and spiritual. The staff from the tour company checked on us regularly to make sure we had water. This is best for history lovers who want to understand ancient Egypt beyond the surface level. The entrance fee was included in what we paid so no surprises there. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see something different.

Good tour - Join Dendera and Abydos day tour from Luxor. The hotel pickup was on schedule and the tour went smoothly. Dendera and Abydos are recommended sites. Your guide will give you a compact overview of the ruins and places to see, and then you can decide how long to spend looking around for yourself. Dendera had 40 minutes, and Abydos had 1 hour of free time, so we had plenty of fun. The driver is also a good driver and there is no anxiety.

Magical Journey into the Heart of Ancient Egypt - The journey to Dendera and Abydos temples was unlike anything I’ve experienced before. The moment we arrived at Dendera, I was mesmerized by the vivid ceiling artwork inside Hathor’s temple — the colors are still so alive, it’s like they were painted yesterday. The tour guide did an amazing job explaining the symbolism behind the stars, zodiac, and goddess Hathor herself.
Then we continued to Abydos the spiritual center of ancient Egypt. Walking through the grand halls and learning that this temple once housed the head of Osiris made the whole trip feel sacred. The carvings, the energy, and the sense of history were just mind-blowing.
We were kept hydrated throughout the day with bottled water, and lunch was fresh, tasty, and just what we needed to refuel. Our driver was punctual and professional, and the vehicle was clean and comfortable. Huge thanks to our guide for making the day educational, safe, and truly unforgettable.
