Just amazing - I highly recommend the walking tour with Hasan! As an artist, he brings a unique blend of fun facts, history, and art to the tour of Stone Town. Hasan is not only passionate and knowledgeable about the area but also an excellent photographer. As a solo female traveler, I greatly appreciated how he ensured I felt safe and well looked after, all while capturing amazing photos for me. It was a truly enriching experience, and I can't praise Hasan enough!

A really interesting and highly recommended tour. - Hassan showed us many extremely interesting parts of Stone Town and was very knowledgeable about the history and cultural sides of the town. He is also an artist and we were shown the studio within the Old Fort with several budding painters at work. We would have no hesitation in recommending him and we had a most enjoyable time with him and bought a couple of paintings from him, not to be grateful but because we genuinely loved his work !!

An excellent insight into Stone Town - This was a great part of our holiday in Zanzibar. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our slow pace. Three hours is possibly a touch too long - but we enjoyed it all the same. My only regret is not seeing the textile market, but my partner was too weary.

The perfect Guide - Hassan is a guide who listens to his clients. He has always made it a point of honour for me to be satisfied with my activities. I had the chance to do several activities and each time, he asked me, if I was happy with my day and asked me what he can do to make the next activity unforgettable. He loves his country very much and talks about it with Passion. I was a solo girl traveler and he make me feel like Home and safe. Assante sana ;)

Great walking tour of Stone Town - Really enjoyed our half-day Stone Town walking tour with Hassan. He has a real passion for the history of Stone Town and explains it in an informative and interesting way. Hussan made the walking tour as comfortable as possible, always stopping in the shade to tell us stories and finding spots for us to sit down as he talked to us. I liked that the two art shops we stopped at were supporting local artists - one a gallery that is also an art school and another that is a carpentry workshop that also produced unique 3D paintings. We actually went back the next day to buy a painting.  Hassan even took photos of us along the way to remember our wonderful morning with him! Highly recommend Hassan and would not hesitate to book another tour with him.

The Best Guide in Zanzibar - Booked Hassan to take us around his island based on previous TA reviews. As soon as we booked him he was in touch with us. We arranged to have him meet us at the airport, transport us to our hotel, take us around Stone Town and to a spice farm, and also had him take us to and from our hotel in Nungwi. We could not have asked for a nicer guide. Hassan is passionate about his work, knowledgeable, pleasant and ambitious. He has a dream, and being a good tour guide is a large part of his dream. He arranged for our drivers who were also very nice and easily navigated the traffic of Stone Town and the potholes of Nungwi. He knows the best places to eat and shop. He even arranged for a typical Zanzibar lunch for us at the spice farm after our tour was over. He was very helpful bargaining in the markets too. I couldn't imagine our trip being nearly as pleasant had we not had the good fortune of Hassan's hospitality.

Fantastic - Hassan was fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and loves Zanzibar’s history. We went to places I would never have found by myself. And he made it so much fun. He is also a very talented artist and was kind enough to take me to his school. Great experience.
