The Lipica Stud Farm is one of the oldest stud farms in the world. For more than 400 years the tradition of breeding noble white horses has been preserved here in the center of the unique Karst area. Find out everything you wanted to know about Lipizzan horses who are the basis of the Spanish Riding School in Vienna and the pride of riders all around the world. In 1996 the Lipica Stud Farm was declared a cultural monument of outstanding importance for the Republic of Slovenia. Wrap up the day visiting Postojna Cave to soak up some mesmerizing scenery of underground karst formations.
