Loved this tour!! - This tour was wonderful and Steve was the perfect tour guide! He knew so much history and facts about each location. We really felt immersed in each village we visited. It was hard to choose the favorite part of the tour as each place was unique and equally beautiful and charming! I would highly recommend any tour with Steve!

Great day with a terrific tour guide! - Steve was an amazing guide! He took us to many interesting places and customized through the day to meet our needs. We saw windmills, visited a small local restaurant where we had a wonderful meal, and visited a beautiful fishing village. He had a lot of knowledge about the history of the places we visited, which made the day very interesting. I would highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyable day in the country - Steve picked up my wife and I at our hotel in central Amsterdam and drove us north to the countryside. We casually walked around Zaanse Schans and enjoyed the sights of the windmills. Steve shared his knowledge of the windmills and their historical and current significance. We enjoyed our stop in Volendam which included a cheese factory and store. We also made a stop in Marken and walked about the small village. It was a relaxed full day tour. At day's end, Steve returned us to our hotel. Steve is very easy to spend time with. He shared his country and he shared himself. Our day with him remains a highlight of the trip.

The Amsterdam, Windmills & Fishing Villages is a must! - We spent 3 days with Steve on 3 different tours. Each tour was 5 stars, so Steve is a 15-star guide! He is native born, has an engaging personality and has the knowledge to genuinely provide the experiences you are seeking. He weaves the character of the Dutch culture throughout his tours--a true professional. You will enjoy every minute spent with him. And, as a bonus, his English is superb and his driving impeccable!

Enchanting countryside - Absolutely the best way to tour if you don’t want to miss anything. This is my 5th trip to Amsterdam and by far the best. Steven, our guide, was very knowledgeable, professional and fun. We could spend as much or as little time time as we wished. From historical facts to local lore he was indispensable.

Great Guide from Private Day Tours Amsterdam - My wife and I booked this tour to take place on 29-Jan-2023. It was guided by Steve, whom I would say, knowledgeable and well-informed. Steve had arrived at our Hotel even when we got to the lobby 5 minutes ahead of the appointment time. We had a great time amid the very cold weather. Steve also brought us to a beautiful restaurant and we enjoyed our lunch there. Will certainly request for his service again if we travel there next time.

Our guide Steven made the day amazing! - We can’t say enough great things about Steven and this tour. The countryside is so beautiful and Steven was an amazing tour guide who is so knowledgeable about the area and history (as well as friendly, personable, kind, funny - just a great guy). He made this tour uniquely personal to our interests and we will definitely be seeing him again in the future. He made us feel at ease and very welcome. I CAN’T RECOMMEND THIS TOUR ENOUGH. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Rotterdam and Kinderdijk Windmills… a must see - This visit to the Kinderdijk array of windmills and to Rotterdam, guided by Steve Attetsol, was first rate…. Visiting Kinderdijk or Zaandam Schans is vital to understanding this remarkable country and Steve’s knowledge of his country and his insights added to the experience. Returning via Rotterdam gave an introduction to a very different Dutch city… quite unlike Amsterdam.

Great tour! - Steven was waiting for us when we exited elevator! Never felt like we were being rushed. Accommodated my limited walking ability. VERY knowledgeable; learned a lot. We went to places that other tours tend to go to BUT somehow we never had them around us. Because it was just us, Steven took us to places that tour groups are not allowed. Very private, intimate feeling tour. Like a friend was showing us around, a friend who was very familiar with the various areas. Learned a lot.
