Northern Light hunting - My daughter and I thank Arctic Tours for this journey! We came to Yellowknife from Toronto. It was amazing tour! Our guides were very knowledgeable and took care about tourists very good. Tour bus was every time just in scheduled time. They tried to keep us warm with tea, coffee, treats and hot chocolate, they took our pictures and answered on all our questions. We were lucky, weather was perfect. We saw amazing 60% storm. We saw Northern light every night. Thank you very much Arctic Tours for this unforgettable tour!

As we were seniors he dropped us at doors and had a more experienced guide tour us through the museum and legislative buildings. He stayed while my husband shopped for diamonds and was very interested in our wellbeing.

However if you could spare around 5 hours, you could go to these attractions by short walking distance or taxi rides of less than $10 from one end of Yellowknife to the other. Old town is nice to walk around.

Disappointing - Tour isn’t worth it as get dropped at heritage centre, taken to the welcome to Yellowknife sign, go to an cultural community (which is just normal houses now and sit on the bus which couldn’t see out as frozen windows), got to pilot monument which is just in town also and went to the lake rod, but can get into that anytime by walking on the great slave lake. The bus was freezing cold and if it was warm might have been okay
