Fabulous private trip to Tongdosa temple from Busan. with gourmet Bulgogi lunch experience - My private trip to Tongdosa temple from Busan was fantastic. My tour guide was Mina who speaks fluent English, and she is very pleasant. Mina explained to me very clearly about the meaning of the 3 gates that lead to Togdosa temple, and arrangement of the different buildings in the temple complex, and each Buddha statue represents in each building. The architectonic design and the golden Buddhas and the artistic Tangkas in each building make the Tongdosa Temple a unique temple complex in South Korea. Tongdosa is a one of the many UNESCO World Heritage sites in South Korea, and it’s a must visit site for any visitor to South Korea. The most impressive hall is where the Buddha’s life is depicted in 6 Tangkas that fill the entire back wall. I highly recommend walking the long path in the pine forest next to a stream to access the Tongdosa Temple complex.

A beautiful trip to remember - We had a fantastic time. Our guide Ms Jun took the time to share the long history of Tongdosa Temple in great detail. The temple was so beautiful. Ms Jun was quite superb in English which my husband much appreciated :) We also enjoyed a delicious traditional Korean lunch. The day we took this tour was absolutely beautiful. Much to clip in our memory bank. Definitely recommend this trip!!!
